How to activate free voice calling on JioFiber and get Jio Fixed Voice Landline number

Reliance Jio today at its 42nd annual general meeting (AGM) in Mumbai announced that Jio Fiber will roll out commercially starting from September 5th, 2019. It also announced that Jio Fiber users will a free Jio Fixed Voice Landline Service that will offer voice calls across India. JioFiber launching on September 5 – Plans start from Rs. 700, free landline with unlimited calling, free TV and 4K Set-top box with annual plans

Reliance Jio at its 42nd annual general meeting (AGM) in Mumbai announced that Jio Fiber will roll out commercially starting from September 5th, 2019 on the third anniversary of Jio’s launch. This will reach 20 million residences and 15 million business establishments in 1,600 towns and will expand in the next 12 months, said Mukesh Ambani. It started trials  for JioGigaFiber services from August 15th last year.

Reliance Jio reports Rs. 891 crore profit in FY Q1 2019-20, JioGigaFiber trials in final stages

Reliance Jio has reported Rs. 11679 crore revenue, up 5.2 % QoQ and 44% YoY and a net profit of 891 crore, up 6.1% QoQ and 45.6% YoY for its eigth quarterly financial performance for the period that ended 30th June
2019.  Jio reported Standalone earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of 4,686 crore, up 8.2% QoQ, EBITDA margin of 40.1%, and Standalone earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) of 3,029 crore, up 17.2% QoQ . Jio Digital Udaan digital literacy program for first time internet users launched

Jio has today announced that the company has launched a new digital literacy program called ‘Digital Udaan’. The company has worked closely with Facebook for this program and this initiative includes audio-visual training in 10 regional languages and more.

Reliance Jio leads feature phone market in India in Q1 2019

Jio launched its feature phone, JioPhone in June 2017 in India. The phone sported a candy bar design, came with support for 4G VoLTE and had support for 22 Indian languages.  The successor to the JioPhone i.e., JioPhone 2 with QWERTY keyboard was launched in July 2018. Jio saw great sales of both the smartphones and today, new reports have emerged that Jio becomes the leader in the feature phone market.

Reliance Jio reports Rs. 840 crore profit in FY Q4 2018-19, crosses 300 million subscribers

Reliance Jio has reported Rs. 11,106 crore revenue, up 7.0 % QoQ and 55.8 YoY and a net profit of 840 crore, up 1.1% QoQ and 64.7% YoY for its seventh quarterly financial performance for the period that ended 31st March
2019.  Jio reported Standalone earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of 4,329 crore, up 6.8% QoQ, EBITDA margin of 39%, and Standalone earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) of 2,585 crore, up 9.1% QoQ . Reliance Jio acquires Haptik in a deal valued at Rs. 700 crore

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) today announced that its subsidiary Reliance Jio Digital Services Limited (RJDSL) has entered into a definitive business transfer agreement with Haptik Infotech Pvt Ltd (Haptik). On a fully diluted basis Reliance will hold about 87% of the business with the rest being held by Haptik founders and employees through stock option grants. RCOM and Reliance Jio terminate multi-crore wireless infrastructure asset deal by mutual consent

Reliance Communications (RCOM) just announced that the deal between  RCOM, RTL, RITL (RCOM Group) and RJIL for sale of certain
specified telecom assets have been terminated today by mutual agreement. The company says that this is due to lack of consent from its lenders and permissions from telecom department among other reasons since the agreements nearly 15 months ago.
