Recently, Airtel started testing WiFi Calling (VoWiFi) in several cities in India and later officially launched the service. Following Airtel’s launch, Reliance Jio has now started rolling out WiFi Calling facility in Chennai and Delhi-NCR. This comes after the testing began in Delhi recently. The company is yet to launch the VoWiFi services in the country officially.

Reliance Jio just launched Jio 2020 Happy New Year Offer for both Jio users and those who are looking to get a new JioPhone. Under this offer Jio users get 1.5GB/day data, 100 SMS per day and Jio to Non-Jio FUP of 12,000 minutes with 12 months of validity at Rs. 2020. After Airtel and Vodafone Idea, Reliance Jio introduced its New All-in-one plans‘ with revised pricing along with JioPrime benefits, but it started with Rs. 199 offering 1.5 GB/day, 1000 off-net mins and 28 days validity. Now it has brought back Rs. 149 plan, which now offers 1GB / day, 300 off-net mins and 24 days validity. Earlier this week, Airtel and Vodafone Idea hiked prepaid tariff and released new recharge plans. Following Reliance Jio’s announcement regarding tariff hike recently, the company has now officially launched the ‘New All-in-one plans‘ with revised pricing along with JioPrime benefits.
Earlier today, Vodafone Idea and Airtel increased prepaid tariff and introduced new prepaid plans. Similarly, Jio has now announced that they will be introducing new All-in-one plans from December 6th, 2019.

Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd (Jio) has unveiled the worlds first Native Video Call Assistant (Bot) today at Indian Mobile Congress (IMC), 2019. The Jio Video Call Assistant can be accessed via a 4G phone call, without the need for installing any other application. The bot is aimed at improving customer support and customer communication use cases.

Reliance Jio has confirmed that those who have recharged on or before October 9th can enjoy calls to any number for free until their plan expires.
Realiance Jio just announced the launched of JioFiber, its Fiber to the Home service, across 1,600 cities in India, as it has promised last month. As it had announced earlier, plans start from 100 Mbps and go all the way up to 1 Gbps and are priced between Rs. 699 and Rs. 8499 (GST additional on all plans, as applicable). Additional benefits which will be included with all the plans include free voice calling all over India, TV video calling, latency-free Gaming, and Device Security with Norton Device secure for up to five devices for an entire year. Every user will get a Set Top Box even with monthly plan. Jio says that users will have to pay Rs. 2500 (includes Rs. 1500 security deposit and Rs. 1000 non-refundable installation charges.).

Jio recently announced JioFiber home-internet service along with other service announcements. On similar lines, Jio has officially listed its new ‘JioGate’ app on the App Store and Google Play Store and it is an apartment security management service. This new service by Jio is said to take on other apps in this segment like MyGate, Apartment Adda, SmartGuard and more.
