Coolpad launched the Note 3 smartphone in India earlier this month for Rs. 8,999. It went on sale on Amazon.in through flash sale at 2PM today. It received over 5 lakh registrations for the sale in just 2 days, said Coolpad. Today the company said that it sold 15,000 units of Note 3 smartphones in less than 5 minutes. ACT Fibernet revises tariffs in Chennai, 100Mbps plan now at Rs. 1999
ACT (Atria Convergence Technologies Pvt. Ltd.), popular for its Fiber Optic broadband has revised their tariffs for their ACT Fibernet customers in Chennai. It revised tariffs and introduced new plans for Fibernet customers in Hyderabad recently. In Chennai 100Mbps plan now costs Rs. 1,999. Previously 100Mbps plan was only available for SOHO (Small office / Home Office) customers. The base ACT Blaze plan for Rs. 999 now offers 40Mbps speed with 50GB FUP and there is new 75Mbps ACT Thunder plan for Rs. 1,499 with 125GB FUP limit. There is no change in speed post the FUP limit in retail plans, now all SOHO plan customers now get 2Mbps speed post FUP. YU confirms metal body for its flagship YUTOPIA smartphone
YU is expected to launch its flagship YU YUTOPIA smartphone later this month. Rahul Sharma, Co-founder and CEO of YU recently confirmed the YU YUTOPIA smartphone and the Cyanogen Inc. recently confirmed that the smartphone will come with Cyagnogen OS 12.1 based on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop).
