Vodafone has launched its 4G LTE services in Mumbai, as it had promised last week, after launching it in n Kerala, Mysore, Kolkata and Delhi & NCR. Vodafone said that it will be rolled out in key business & residential corridors of Mumbai across Western suburbs & South Mumbai in a phased manner, and the roll-out will be completed across all parts of Mumbai including Eastern suburbs & New Mumbai license areas by the end of March 2016.

Motorola has finally started rolling out Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) update for the Moto G (2nd gen) and the Moto G (2nd gen) 4G in India, few weeks after it stared soak test for the smartphone. Motorola rolled out Android Marshmallow update for the Moto X Style in India back in November last year, Moto X Play, Moto G (3rd Gen) and Moto G Turbo edition got the Marshmallow update in India last month. It has a 5-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, is powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop), which is upgradable to Android 6.0 (Marshmallow). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a25-megapixel front-facing camera that also has a flash for capturing better images in poor lighting conditions. LeEco (formerly known as Letv) today announced that it sold 95,000 Le 1s smartphones in just 20 seconds in the second flash sale at 12 noon on Flipkart. Yesterday the company said that the registration number reached a record high of 9,20,000, today it said that it reached over 10,30,000 before the sale. It received 605,000 registrations and sold 70,000 units in just 2 seconds in the first flash sale last week. Google today announced that it is now offering flood alerts through Google Public Alerts in India. This is provided by the Central Water Commission (CWC) using its observation stations for more than 170 areas. “These alerts are available on Google web search, Google Now cards in the Google app, Google Maps, and on the Public Alerts homepage, both on your computer and phone”, said google.
