Intex has launched Aqua Music, the company’s latest 4G smartphone with Voice over LTE (VoLTE) support and dual speakers. It has a 5.5-inch HD display, is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor, runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow), has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
Gionee India has sent out invites for the launch of a new smartphone with selfie flash in India on August 22nd. The invite just reads “The Director’s Cut” along with the date. Gionee recently introduced M6 and M6 Plus smartphones in the Marathon series with huge batteries, but neither of them have selfie flash. Ringing Bells, makers of the most affordable and controversial Freedom 251 smartphone launched its 31.5-inch HD LED TV last month priced at Rs. 9990, along with several smartphones. Today the company has announced that it will start pre-bookings for the Freedom 9900 TV on August 15th, and will start shipping the TVs from August 16th onwards. Airtel has launched its 4G LTE services in Kharagpur in West Bengal, making it the second city in Bengal to have 4G services. Airtel 4G in Kharagpur will be offered using dual spectrum bands of 2300 MHz (TD LTE) and 1800 MHz (FD LTE). It is also one of the few cities in India to have an integrated dual band 4G network, which ensures higher network capacity for a better experience. Samsung has launched the new Gear VR headset for the Galaxy Note7 in India along with the Galaxy Note7. It has the same design as the previous Gear VR, but the Field of View (viewing angle) has been increased from 96 degrees to 101 degrees for an immersive video and gaming experience. Samsung has launched the Gear IconX, it’s first fitness tracking headset at the Note7 event. It was announced back in June and can track heart rate, distance, speed, duration and calories burned and provide data through the voice guide, even without a smartphone.

Samsung just launched Gear Fit2, its latest fitness tracker in India at its Galaxy Note7 launch event. It was announced back in June, has a 1.5-inch Curved Super AMOLED screen, runs Tizen OS and automatically tracks 15 different fitness activities such as walking, squatting, yoga, treadmill and more. It also has a standalone music player that lets you transfer music between the Gear Fit2 and your smartphone with the Samsung Gear application.
