
Airtel has launched 40 Mbps Broadband on VDSL (Very-high-speed digital subscriber line) technology in Hyderabad. Airtel currently offers broadband speeds up to 16Mbps on a DSL broadband in the city, and the new 40 Mbps on a VDSL broadband enables the customers enjoy high definition video streaming, online multiplayer gaming, and lots more easily. Airtel has introduced 2 plans, Ultrasonic 3999 and Ultrasonic 3299 that offers 200 GB data and 100 GB data, respectively.

Ericsson sues Micromax for Rs. 100 Crores over patent infringement

Ericsson, world’s biggest telecom network equipment maker has sued Micromax over patent infringement regarding wireless technology standards such as GSM, EDGE and 3G, according to a report from Economic Times. Ericsson is calming over Rs 100 crore in damages since Micromax has refused to sign necessary licences for products compliant with the GSM, EDGE, and UMTS/WCDMA standards, after three years of negotiations failed. Will Google start selling the Nexus 4 in India soon ?

In an interesting development , Google has listed the Nexus 7 up for sale on the Google Play India store just minutes ago. This is the first time Google is directly selling a device in India to a customer through its Play store. This might be a sign of things to come. The Nexus 4 is also hidden on the store but the page says that ” it is not available in your country ” . There has been a lot of speculation about the Nexus 4 launching in India ever since Google started selling one of the most affordable Android 4.2 powered in the US market.

Google Play Store India now sells the 16 GB Nexus 7 for a price of Rs. 15,999

It has been a while since we saw the Google Nexus 7 *officially* launch in India for Rs. 19,999/- but now, out of the blue, we have got the devices page on the Indian Google Play Store selling the Nexus 7 directly for Rs. 15,999 for the 16 GB version. Earlier, it was Croma, the Tata retailer that was selling it, but looks like we are finally seeing Google directly selling the device.

The app looks pretty similar to applications on other platforms from the bank.You can transfer money even to other bank accounts through NEFT. Celkon A119 Signature HD with 5-inch HD display, Android 4.1 launched for Rs. 13499

Celkon has launched the A119 Signature HD, the company’s latest flagship Android smartphone. This is the first phone in the new Signature series. It has a 5 inch (1280 x 720 pixels) touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It comes with a 12-megapixel auto focus camera on the back and a 3-megapixel front-facing camera. It has dual SIM support with dual standby. This would compete with the Xolo A1000 that was launched last month, which comes with similar features.
Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus now available in India for Rs. 22,900

Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus is now on sale exclusively from online retailer Infibeam in India. It was announced earlier this year and packs a 4.3-inch (800 x 480 Pixels) Super AMOLED Plus capacitive touch screen display similar to the Galaxy S2, but it is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Broadcom BCM28155 processor instead of dual-core Exynos chip in the Galaxy S2. It runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) out of the box and has a 8MP auto focus camera with LED flash, zero shutter lag and a 2MP HD front-facing camera. Xolo B700 with 4.3-inch qHD IPS display, 3450 mAh Battery now available for Rs. 8999

Xolo B700, the company’s latest Android smartphone with dual SIM support is now available from online retailer Flipkart. Xolo launched the A700, the first Android smartphone in the A Series powered by a MediaTek processor back in November last year. This is the first phone in the new B Series, which indicates the high capacitity battery. It has a 4.3-inch (960 x 540 pixels) 16M color capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6577 processor and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). It comes with a 5MP auto focus camera with LED flash at the back with 720p HD video recording and a VGA front-facing camera similar to the Xolo A700. Gionee Dream D1 Hands On Video
Gionee is one of the newest entrants into India’s fairly crowded mid-range Android smartphone space. We’ve got our hands on their brand new product, the Gionee Dream D1. The phone brings an interesting mix of fairly high end specifications at a decidedly low price point.
The phone combines a 4.65inch 720p Super AMOLED display with a Mediatek Quad Core processor running at 1.2Ghz to provide quite an excellent multimedia experience. Samsung released the Galaxy Grand Duos in India back in January. We brought you the Galaxy Grand Duos photo gallery earlier today, here we have the benchmarks of the device. The device is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Broadcom BCM28155 processor based on ARM Cortex-A9 and VideoCore 4 GPU. It has a 5-inch (800 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen display at 186 ppi pixel density. It runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean).

Intex is all set to release two new Android smartphones in the Aqua range. We spotted the Aqua Star and the Aqua SX, the company’s upcoming affordable Android smartphones on their website. The Intex Aqua SX has almost similar features as the Aqua S including a 3.5-inch (480×320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and is powered by a 1 GHz processor . This packs a 1450 mAh battery. The Intex Aqua Star would come with a 4-inch display, powered by a 1 GHz processor and run on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini Unboxing

Almost six months have passed since the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini in Europe. It never reached the subcontinent as Samsung had planned to launch other devices with similar specifications here, like the Galaxy S Duos, which is basically a Dual SIM version of the Galaxy S3 mini. However, there are lots of differences between the S3 mini and the S Duos when it comes to the internals. Just for comparisons sake, you have to know that the S3 mini looks exactly like the S Duos. With that said, the S3 mini is an interesting device on its own, and since we have got it in our labs now, here it is, our unboxing video –
