Gionee has released the Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) update for the Elife E7 mini in India. The company rolled out KitKat update for the Elife S5.5 and CTRL V5 smartphones in India earlier this month. Unlike the OTA update for those phones, update for the Elife E7 mini needs to be installed via flash tools. The Elife E7 mini went on sale in India back in April running Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean), and the KitKat update brings revamped user interface, enhanced features like an updated Amigo paper and game zone, wallpapers application, improved security and more. Gionee Elife E7 mini that went on sale online in India online last week has been officially launched in India. It was announced in India back in December last year and has a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display, powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor with Mali 450-MP4 GPU and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with Amigo UI 2.0. It packs a 13-megapixel swivel camera with LED flash and has 12 Levels of Auto Beauty feature for capturing better selfies. Gionee Elife E7 mini was launched in India back in December last year along with the Elife E7. It was expected to go on sale in January 2014, but it didn’t happen. The smartphone is now on sale in India from online retailer Infibeam and Snapdeal. Gionee has launched the Elife E7 mini in India along with the Elife E7. It has a 4.7-inch  (1280  x 720  pixels) IPS display, powered by a 1.7 GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) with Amigo UI 2.0. It packs a 13-megapixel swivel camera, just like the Oppo N1. It packs 1GB RAM and comes with 2100 mAh battery. The phone was leaked last month, but it was not announced at the Elife E7 launch in China. Gionee Elife E7 mini with 4.7-inch display, octa-core chip leaks out along with 5.5-inch Elife E7 ahead of launch

Gionee is all set to launch the Elife E7 later today in Shanghai, China. Now the specifications of the smartphone has surfaced on a Taiwanese website along with the Elife E7 mini with a 4.7-inch 720p display. We already know that the Elife E7 would feature a Qualcomm 8974AC quad-core chip clocked at 2.5 GHz, this chip would be available only in the LTE version and the 3G variant would feature a 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 800 chip, reveals the new leak. The phone would feature a 5.5-inch (1920  x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS touch screen display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and a 2.33mm narrow bezel. It is rumored to feature a 16-megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The phone is expected to come with 2GB RAM for the 16GB variant and 3GB RAM for the 32GB variant.
