We are lucky to get our hands on the LG Optimus 3D which is the world’s first 3D phone and the world’s first 3D smartphone. The 3D experience does not require you to wear 3D glasses as the phone packs a glassless/glassfree 3D display. You can also capture 3D Video footage and pictures talks to the 3D Stereoscopic camera on the back.The phone was announced this year at Mobile World Congress and the unit we are currently playing with looks a lot more stable and polished. The first Nokia Harmattan / MeeGo device , the Nokia N9 , has been garnering rave reviews everywhere. However there is one more MeeGo phone ie the developer only Nokia N950. Rumor has it that the N950 was supposed to be launched in 2010 as the first MeeGo device but got canned. Nokia has been handing these out to select developers to spurt the development of Qt apps for the N9 as well as the next billion Qt enabled devices.

When you see a preview of all the apps currently running , it shows you the every app’s current state in realtime and not just a screenshot like in some other platforms. Nokia’s gaming centric handset , the Nokia X7 is now available in India. We spotted a few units at the Priority Dealer where we could take a demo piece for a spin. The X7 comes with a 4″ AMOLED screen and runs Symbian Anna. The camera is an 8MP EDoF unit. The unit comes with a 8GB microSD card in the package and supports upto 32GB of memory. The phone has been priced at Rs 22,000.

At the Nokia Connection 2011 event in Singapore today , Marko Ahtisaari, Senior Vice President , Design , Nokia introduced the Nokia N9 the first MeeGo phone from the company. The design looks incredibly awesome and we can barely wait to get our hands on it. The UI works in a swipe based mechanism and uses no physical keys.

PocketNow has got their hands on the Press Images of the rumoured Nokia N9 / Lankku / N950 . The images almost confirms that the device will be a Touch only device without a QWERTY keyboard. Full specs or a final name is still not out, but the handset is likely to arrive in Pink, Blue and Black.
