Sony has announced two new models in its all-in-one wearable Walkman series. The WS413 and WS414 were announced at CES 2016 and are water proof and dust proof. They can also be used in saltwater.

Samsung has announced the third product in their Chromebook lineup which was first introduced back in 2011 – the Chromebook 3. The Chromebook 3 is quite portable as it weighs in at just 1.14kgs and is around 17mm thick.

Sony announced h.ear on and h.ear in wired noise cancelling headphones at the IFA 2015 last year. Now at the CES 2016 Sony has introduced wireless variants. The new h.ear in is behind-the neck style in-ear Bluetooth wireless headphones and the h.ear on is headband-style Bluetooth wireless headphones with Digital Noise Cancelling. Samsung introduced the Gear S2 series back in September last year at the IFA. Apart from water resistance up to 50 meters, this is also built to military standard specifications (MIL-STD-810G) so that it can withstand a variety of rugged activities. At its CES 2016 event Qualcomm showed off the Letv Le Max Pro, which becomes the first smartphone to be announced with Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 820 processor and Qualcomm Sense ID Fingerprint technology that will offer more secure authentication on mobile devices. Snapdragon 820 also has 802.11ad multi-gigabit Wi-Fi and X12 LTE with Cat. 12/13 download speeds of up to 600 Mbps. Other features are similar to the Letv Le Max that was introduced last year. JBL has announced the first in-ear wireless headphones to come with NXTGen active noise cancellation. They unveiled the Everest Elite 100 prior to the start of CES in Las Vegas, USA.
HTC has unveiled Vive Pre, a second generation VR headset at CES 2016. The device which is built in partnership with Valve sports additional new features and tweaks in the design hardware of the headset. The HTC Vive will be the first VR hardware to support SteamVR.
