Redmi AirDots S true wireless Bluetooth 5.0 headset with low-latency game mode announced

Xiaomi’s  Redmi brand has introduced Redmi AirDots S wireless Bluetooth headset in China, successor of last year’s AirDots. The new Redmi AirDots S offers seamless switching between mono and binaural mode, features the latest Bluetooth 5.0 chip, which offers twice the transmission rate compared with the previous generation as well as faster and more stable connectivity. There is also new low-latency game mode for gamers that can be enabled with three taps on the headset. Redmi Note 8 Pro finally gets official Pixel Experience support

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 8 series in India back in October. To recall, Redmi Note 8 Pro was the world’s first smartphone to be powered by the gaming-focused MediaTek Helio G90T SoC. Mi Fit 4.0.17 update lets Mi Band 3 and 4 users unlock laptops with their bands

Xiaomi’s Mit Fit app for wearable devices received the 4.0 update last year which introduced new UI, optimized data view, and more. The company has now released the 4.0.17 update with minor tweaks to UI and a nifty feature for Indian users.

Xiaomi Mi A3 Android 10 update finally starts rolling out [Update: New update with bug fixes and April security patch]

Update: April, 2020 – Xiaomi has started rolling out new build 11.0.11.0.QFQMIXM for the Mi A3 that is about 1.33GB in size bringing April Android security patch and also fixes bugs. This also adds Pro camera mode, but there is no Wi-Fi calling / VoWiFi support yet.

MIUI gets Android 10 gesture navigation feature

Google released Android 10, the next version of Android back in September last year and OEMs are gradually rolling out the update. Android 10 has several new features including enhanced Privacy Controls, Smart Reply, Dark Theme, Gesture Navigation, and more. Xiaomi has been rolling out MIUI 11 based on Android 10 to its lineup of smartphones and now with the latest beta update in China, it is finally bringing the Android 10 gesture control feature.

Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition gets 12GB RAM + 512GB Storage version

Xiaomi’s Redmi brand introduced the Redmi K30 Pro 5G smartphone in China last month in normal and zoom edition with the latter featuring 30x digital zoom. Today the company has 12GB (LPDDR5 RAM) + 512GB (UFS 3.1) storage version of the zoom edition at 4499 yuan (US$ 634 / Rs. 49,060 approx.) making it the top-end version in the K30 Pro series. Xiaomi starts rolling out PatchWall 3.0 with enhanced UI, dedicated sports channel, new content partners to Mi TVs in India

Xiaomi today announced the roll out of PatchWall 3.0, the latest version of Mi TV’s UI. This will offer deeper integration with Disney+ Hotstar and addition of new content partners, Mi List along with other UI enhancements. Cleaner animations, a new Mi Lanting Pro font, horizontal scrolling are some of the key features and improvements in PatchWall 3.0, said the company. Xiaomi Mi TV 4A 60-inch and Mi Full Screen TV 4A Pro 75-inch 4K HDR TVs announced

Along with other accessories Xiaomi also introduced Mi TV 4A 60-inch and Mi Full Screen TV 4A Pro 75-inch 4K HDR TVs in China. This comes after the Redmi Smart TV MAX 98-inch 4K HDR TV that was introduced last week. The Mi TV 4A model is similar to most budget models featuring patchwall. Xiaomi introduces Mi AirDots Pro 2s with Bluetooth 5.0, wireless charging case with up to 24h battery life

Xiaomi at its China event also introduced the Mi AirDots Pro 2s, which is an upgraded version of the Mi AirDots Pro 2 that was introduced last year. This has the same design and comes with Bluetooth 5.0, LDHC Hi-Res audio codec, smart voice controls, dual microphones for environmental noise cancellation (ENC), 14.2mm drivers and automatically connects with the phone running MIUI when you open the case and pick up the earphones, but the company says that it has improved dual Bluetooth chip so that the latency between the headsets and the interference are reduced offering more stable connection. Xiaomi just announced Mi Kids Watch 4, the company’s latest smartwatch for Kids in the Mi Ecosystem in China. It has a 1.78-inch AMOLED touch screen with support for several watch faces, has support for eSIM for 4G VoLTE calling through all the major operators in China such as China Telecom and China Unicom, has built-in GPS and comes with front and rear cameras so that Kids can make video calls and also reveal the other person on the front in the call.
