After rumors, Xiaomi today confirmed that it will announce the Mi 9 Pro 5G at an event in China on September 24th. It will also showcase the next-generation Mi MIX phone with 5G concept, which is rumored to come with a 108MP Samsung sensor, but the final phone might launch sometime later this year. Redmi K20 said to receive Android 10 update as early as October

[Update, Jan 3, 2020]: Xiaomi has finally started rolling out Android 10 based MIUI 11 update to Redmi K20 as well as Mi 9T in India and Europe.

[Sep 13, 2019]: The Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones made debut under the Redmi sub-brand in China back in May, the company launched the Redmi K20 as Mi 9T in some markets later in June. Both the smartphones made their way to India under Redmi branding back in July. After the Redmi 8 (M1908C3IC) got certified last month, cheaper Redmi 8A has been certified by TENAA in China with the model number M1908C3KE. This reveals a 6.2-inch HD+ Dot notch display, Octa-Core SoC, up to 4GB RAM, 12-megapixel single rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, 5000mAh battery and no fingerprint sensor.

Xiaomi Mi TV 65-inch 4K Smart LED TV launching in India on September 17 on Amazon

Xiaomi already confirmed that it will launch new TVs at an event in India on September 17th. Yesterday it confirmed the launch of Mi Band 4 in India at the event. Today Xiaomi India head and VP Manu Jain has posted a new video on Twitter teasing the TV and said that if it gets ’65’,000 RTs, the TV will be revealed before the launch next week. This confirms that it will be a 65-inch TV. The TV will launch on Amazon.in.

Xiaomi Mi Charge Turbo 30W wireless fast charging technology announced, will debut in Mi 9 Pro 5G

Xiaomi has announced Mi Charge Turbo 30W wireless fast charging technology in China, as expected. The company said that it features new solution that uses an efficient 4:1 direct charging architecture that enables up to 30W wireless charging. It uses a two-stage charge pump, charging more efficiently and generates less heat than the 2:1 architecture used in the last 20W wireless charging solution present in the Mi 9.

Xiaomi Mi Charge Turbo next generation fast charging technology to be announced on September 9

Xiaomi today announced that it will introduce Mi Charge Turbo, the company’s next-generation fast charging technology in China on September 9th. It says that it will be the fast charging for the 5G era.
