Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has silently introduced Redmi Display 1A, the first monitor under the Redmi brand. This comes after the Redmi 1A monitor that was introduced a few weeks back. The main highlight of the monitor is its three-micro-edge immersive design and is 7.3mm at its thinnest point. It supports blue light and comfortable eye protection, has a 178° viewing angle.

Back in March a roadmap for Xiaomi’s upcoming products surfaced revealing that the company is planning to launch Mi TV Stick, a compact version of its Mi TV Box in Europe in May. Now that May is over, the company did not introduce any such product, however at an event in Germany yesterday to launch the Redmi Note 9 series phones, the company teased the Mi TV Stick with an image. Xiaomi’s Redmi unveiled the Redmi Note 8 series in the country back in October running MIUI 10.3 Global Stable on top of Android 9.0 (Pie) and later rolled out MIUI 11 update to both the smartphones. The Pro variant has been the talk of the town since it is superior to the vanilla Redmi Note 8 in every aspect, but Redmi Note 8 has better custom ROM and mods support compared to its Pro sibling, thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC.
Redmi Note 8 Pro has already received Android 10 update but Redmi Note 8 still runs on Android 9, but you can always install a custom ROM to stay on the latest version of Android. It has a 16.1-inch Full HD screen with 3.26mm ultra narrow bezels and 90% screen-to-body ratio, Ryzen 4000 series 7nm processors with Radeon GPU and up to 16GB of RAM. Xiaomi’s Redmi brand along with Redmi 10X series smartphones also introduced new Redmi Smart TV X series smart TVs with 50-inch, 55-inch and 65-inch 4K panels with ultra-narrow bezels offering 97% screen-to-body ratio, HDR support and MEMC motion compensation technology. It has 8-unit audio system that includes 25w full-range speakers and tweeters. Xiaomi’s Redmi brand today introduced the Redmi 10X 5G and 10X Pro 5G smartphone as well as Redmi 10X 4G smartphones in China, as it had promised. The Redmi 10X 5G series features a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED water-drop notch screen from Samsung, is powered by the latest MediaTek Dimensity 820 SoC with built-in 5G SA/NSA and will also support dual SIM 5G support (via OTA update in July). Update — May 22, 2020: Xiaomi has updated their browsers again. Enhanced Incognito mode has been replaced with “Help use improve Mi Browser” which now clearly mentions that if you turn it on, it will share aggregated data stats in Incognito mode. This should clear the confusion among users whether to keep it on or turn it off. This is now reflected in Mint Browser and Mi Browser Pro downloaded from the Play Store. Preloaded Mi Browser on the phones should also receive the update soon.
Update — May 22, 2020: Redmi today confirmed that the Redmi 10X Pro will feature quad rear cameras with OIS and 30x zoom.
