60,000 Redmi 1S units sell out in 5.2 seconds in fourth sale in India
Xiaomi sold 60,000 units of Remi 1S smartphones in 5.2 seconds in the fourth flash sale in India today. The company put up 20,000 units more than first three Redmi sales, and over 3.5 lakh people had registered for today’s sale. Xiaomi announces Bluetooth game controller
Chinese hardware vendor Xiaomi has launched a new Bluetooth game controller. Xiaomi has clearly put more thought into the functionality of the device than the name; it’s simply called Xiaomi Bluetooth game controller. As Xiaomi often does, there’s a special price for the first lot of buyers — 300 in number in this case — of just 1 Yuan, or US$0.16.

60,000 Redmi 1S units to go on sale in India on September 23rd
Xiaomi has announced that 60,000 units of Remi 1S smartphones would be available in fourth flash sale in India. This is 20,000 more than first three sales. It took 3.4 seconds for the company to sell 40,000 units in its third sale earlier this week. This is less than both the first and second sales. Another 40,000 Redmi 1S units will go on sale in India on September 16
Xiaomi has announced that 40,000 units of Remi 1S smartphones would be available in their third flash sale in India, similar to the first two Redmi 1S sale. It took 4.2 seconds for the company to sell all the units and in the second sale that happened earlier this week on September 9th, it took 4.5 seconds. Xiaomi Redmi 1S went on sale in India earlier this month for Rs. 5,996. We brought you the unboxing recently, here are the benchmarks. It is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8228) processor clocked at 1.59 GHz per core and has Adreno 305 GPU. It has a 4.7-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display, 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with MIUI v5 on top. Check out the synthetic benchmark scores below. 40,000 Redmi 1S units to go on sale in India on September 9
Xiaomi has announced that 40,000 Redmi 1S units will be available for sale in India on Flipkart on September 9th. Over 2 lakh people have already registered for the sale. In September 2nd sale, less than 40,000 units of Remi 1s units have been sold on Flipkart in just 4.2 seconds, however these are expected to ship only on September 16th. So smartphones ordered in next week’s sale are likely to ship later this month. The company recently announced that it has halted the sales of Mi 3 temporarily in India to concentrate on Redmi 1S.
