Samsung has announced Galaxy  A12 and Galaxy  A02, two new smartphones in the Galaxy A series. These smartphones feature a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V display, feature matte finish on the backpack and a 5000mAh battery with support for 15W adaptive fast charging. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 to feature S Pen; Galaxy Note Series to be discontinued: Rumour

Samsung adds Google Assistant support for 2020 Smart TV lineup

Samsung has announced that their 2020 lineup of Smart TVs will now support the Google Assistant, giving users quick access to smart home controls, web searches, and apps via voice. The Assistant will be joining the existing suite of voice assistants supported in Samsung Smart TVs, which include Amazon’s Alexa and Samsung’s own Bixby.

Samsung rumoured to be working on Galaxy Z Flip Lite with UTG

Samsung has released 3 foldable devices till date (4 if you count the two versions of the original Galaxy Fold) and it certainly does not like they are giving up on this  form factor anytime soon. All three smartphones were definitely on the ultra-luxury budget segment, with the latest Galaxy Z Fold 2 priced at a whopping Rs. 1,49,999 in India. However, this may change soon as Samsung is reportedly working on a Galaxy Z Flip Lite that should be much cheaper.

This shows an Infinity-V screen, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, quad rear cameras and a two-tone rear design with striped upper section and a glossy bottom section. It has connectivity options for both PCs and smartphones, native support for Microsoft Office 365 applications and other apps like Netflix, YouTube, etc.

Samsung Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+ and Galaxy S21 Ultra detailed specs surface

Samsung is expected to introduce Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra smartphones in a couple of months. After the renders that surfaced last month, detailed specifications of the phone have surfaced. This reveals FHD+ Infinity-O LTPS display with 120Hz refresh rate for both the S21 and S21+ smartphones, and 6.8-inch Quad HD+ Quad HD+ LTPO display with an adaptive refresh rate of 1hz to 120hz. Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra said to support S Pen, but won’t have a docking slot

A  rumour back in August said that the company might end the Galaxy Note line up next year and bring S Pen features to the S21, especially the S21 Ultra. Renders of the Samsung S21 Ultra surfaced a few weeks back that  showed the design of the phone, but it didn’t have an S Pen slot which raised doubts if it will actually come with a stylus. Samsung Galaxy M31s gets One UI 2.5 update with November security patch, Secure Folder in India

Samsung launched the Galaxy M31s smartphone running One UI 2.1 in India back in July. Now it has released new One UI 2.5 update for the phone in India that brings several features including Alt Z Life that adds Quick Switch and Secure Folder that are coming to M series for the first time. The Quick Switch lets users easily switch between normal and private mode instances of the same app with the simple double click of the power button. Samsung Exynos 1080 5nm EUV SoC with built-in 5G, support for up to 144Hz displays announced

Samsung just announced its latest Exynos 1080 SoC, successor of Exynos 980 that was introduced last year, as it had promised. This uses 5nm EUV (extreme ultra violet) lithography processing technology for better power efficiency. This has tri-cluster CPU structure that consists of Arm Cortex-A78 core optimized for peak performance, three Cortex-A78 cores for balanced processing, and four Cortex-A55 cores for efficiency. It promises 50% improved single-core performance and 2x improvements in multi-core performance. The powerful neural processing unit (NPU) and digital signal processor (DSP) are capable of running up to 5.7 trillion operations per second. Samsung launches The Sero 43-inch rotating TV in India for Rs. 1,24,990

Earlier this year during CES 2020, Samsung introduced a rather interesting take on the TV design, showcasing a very unique TV that could rotate to display both horizontally and vertically. The TV, called The Sero, is Samsung’s vision for a future where vertical content, primarily smartphone content can be viewed on TVs without the annoying black columns, and now they have launched The Sero in India.

Android Enterprise Recommended Program list now include Samsung Galaxy smartphones and tablets

The Android Enterprise Recommended program is a list of devices that Google approved for enterprise customers after meeting their standards for hardware, software and updates. The program listed consisted of devices from manufacturers like Lenovo, OnePlus, Oppo, and Xiaomi, and now the latest to join them is Samsung’s family of Galaxy smartphones and tablets.

Samsung Galaxy W21 5G foldable phone with Snapdragon 865+, 12GB RAM announced

Samsung has announced Galaxy W21 5G, successor of last year’s W20 5G in China. It has similar specifications as Galaxy Z Fold2 5G including a 7.6-inch QXGA+ Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED screen on the inside with 120Hz refresh rate, Samsung Ultra Thin Glass and a 6.2-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity Flex display on the outside, but this comes with dual nano SIM support, and new Glitter Gold colour.
