Samsung Galaxy MWC Virtual event set for June 28, Galaxy Watch 4 with Wear OS expected

Samsung has scheduled its Mobile World Congress (MWC) virtual event on June 28. At the event, Samsung has confirmed that it will be showcasing how the Galaxy ecosystem of connected devices is set to provide people with even greater possibilities for enriching their lifestyles.

Samsung also said that it will also be unveiling its vision for the future of smartwatches at the event, with new opportunities for both developers and users designed to deliver a new era of smartwatch experiences. The company already confirmed it will be rolling out new WearOS in partnership with Google in a new smartwatch soon, so this should be Galaxy Watch 4 with the new WearOS.

Based on earlier rumours, the Galaxy Watch Active 4 will be powered by a new 5nm processor, feature a 2D glass screen, narrow bezel, and could feature a titanium alloy frame. The company will also be sharing its latest security enhancements and innovations at the event.

The Samsung Galaxy MWC Virtual event will be live streamed on Samsung YouTube channel at 7:15 pm CET (10:45 PM IST).
