Samsung Exynos 2200 with AMD GPU might not be exclusive to Galaxy smartphones

Earlier this year, Samsung confirmed that it has been working with AMD and the next-generation mobile GPU from AMD will be used in the next flagship Exynos processor – Exynos 2200. While it is expected to be powering the Galaxy S22 series next year, new reports suggest that the Exynos 2200 might not be exclusive to the company’s Galaxy lineup of smartphones.

According to a post on Weibo, the Exynos 2200 SoC is said to be power Vivo’s upcoming flagship smartphone and this means, the Exynos 2200 with AMD GPU might not be exclusive to the Samsung Galaxy lineup of smartphones.

To recall, in the past, Exynos chipsets have powered Vivo’s smartphones, and it is likely that Vivo could launch a smartphone powered by Exynos 2200 SoC.

Other rumours suggest that the Exynos 2200 with AMD GPU will power Samsung’s Windows 10 PC. While not many details are available regarding the SoC, more details should surface soon.
