Samsung has started rolling out Android 5.0.2 (Lollipop) for both the Wi-Fi (SM-T530) and LTE (SM-T535) variants of Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 tablets. Update for the WiFi variant is now available in Spain and the 4G variant has received the update in Nordic Countries. The Tab 4 series was introduced a year back running Android 4.4 (KitKat). Samsung Gear A – Round smartwatch delayed till IFA 2015

We had told you that Samsung is working on a round smartwatch and that it is roping in artists and fashion brands to help develop accessories for it. The smartwatch that is supposedly called the Gear A was sheduled for an announcement in the near future. But it has now apparently been delayed and is expected to be announced later this year during IFA 2015.

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge apparently having 8 bit display colour issues

Apparently the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge at times is displaying colour in 8 bit, sort of like a watercolor painting for some users. The issue is not there all the time, happens only quite rarely and has only been spotted on a few units of the Galaxy S6 Edge so far.

Samsung preparing Artik – New processors for the Internet of Things

Samsung has introduced new memory card line-up that includes, PRO Plus and EVO Plus. These are enhanced versions of EVO and PRO series that were introduced last year. Both these belong to Class 10. These cards have 5 proof technique that can withstand, immersion, heat, shock, and prevent data corruption caused by x-rays, magnetic field (15,000 gauss magnetic force). It can survive in three-meter sea water for 72 hours, 48 more hours of improvement compared to existing EVO and PRO series. These cards can withstand minus 25-degree celsius to 85-degree celsius. Newer batches of Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge use ISOCELL camera sensor instead of Sony sensor

Earlier today, we reported that Sony was having trouble supplying its sensors to the Chinese manufacturers due to high demand from Apple for their iPhone 6C. Apparently Chinese manufacturers aren’t the only ones affected as even Samsung has been forced to use its own sensors in place of Sony ones. This has been witnessed on the newer units of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge.

Samsung set to release Iron Man Edition Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge

Last month we saw an artists rendering of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge in various Avenger character themed colours. At the time we weren’t sure whether Samsung had plans to release them as they didn’t comment on the same. Now sources say that they will be releasing an “Iron Man” edition of the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edger next month.

Samsung is bringing its Tizen App store to more countries across the globe, as per a latest report from the Wall Street Journal. Currently, Tizen OS based smartphones are only available in India and Banglasdesh but the app store is now expanding to 182 including the US, the UK and China.
