realme released realme C11, realme C12, and realme C15 within the last couple of months. These devices have a lot in common despite having differences in camera and battery departments. To recall, all the three devices are powered by entry-level MediaTek Helio G35, the same processor that powers Redmi 9. Due to similar configurations, all the three devices share the same codename ‘RMX2185’ and run the same firmware.

realme launched the realme 7 and 7 Pro smartphones in India last week. Now the company has confirmed that it will introduce realme 7i along with realme 7 in Indonesia on September 17th. An online listing revealed the image of the smartphone with a punch-hole screen, quad rear cameras, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a unique two-tone rear design. The top-end X7 Pro 5G packs a 6.55-inch Full HD+ 120Hz Samsung AMOLED flexible screen with 240Hz touch sampling rate, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, 4096-level brightness adjustment, 1200 nits peak brightness, 32-megapixel camera inside the punch-hole and 91.06% screen-to-body ratio, thanks to 3.05mm ultra-narrow chin. Update: realme has posted official renders for the phone that shows a spectral gradient finish and a large “Dare to Leap” logo on the back. realme design director said that the design team has worked on it for 8 months, took over 400 hours of color proofing it adopts the AG process and three-layer texture, two-layer coating.
When the realme 6 was launched back in March, I reviewed the phone to be great budget smartphone with a focus on gaming with its 90Hz screen. About 5 months later, realme has launched the realme 6i, which is a less expensive version of the realme 6 with a few compromises. When you compare the spec sheet between the two smartphones, you’ll notice that it is nearly identical with the sole exception of the rear-facing primary camera, which has been replaced with a 48MP sensor instead of the 64MP sensor found on the realme 6.
For this reason, my review will focus primarily on the camera of the realme 6i, compare it with its more expensive brother, along with a few minor differences I noticed when reviewing this phone.
