Yesterday at a launch event, realme introduced the realme Band, which claims to be the cheapest fitness band that comes with a heart-rate sensor. realme is back with the successor to the realme 5 series, appropriately naming it the realme 6 which launched today in an online event. Here we have our first impressions on the device along with an unboxing video from our FoneArena Tamil Channel.
relame just launched realme 6, the company’s latest smartphone in India, as it had promised. This is a major upgrade compared to the realme 5 since this comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate and 120Hz touch sampling rate, and 90.5% screen-to-body ratio. The phone is powered by the latest MediaTek Helio G90T SoC. The phone features a 64-megapixel primary rear camera with 1/1.7″ Samsung GW1 Sensor, an 8-megapixel 119° ultra-wide angle lens, 2-megapixel mono sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor for 4cm macro shots. The phone comes with a 6.6-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with 90Hz refresh rate and 120Hz touch sampling rate, and 90.60% screen-to-body ratio. It is the first phone to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 720G 8nm SoC. The phone features a 64-megapixel primary rear camera with 1/1.7″ Samsung GW1 Sensor, an 8-megapixel 119° ultra-wide angle lens, 12-megapixel telephoto sensor for up to 20x zoom and a 2-megapixel sensor for 4cm macro shots. Last week realme announced an event in India to launch the realme 6 and realme 6 Pro smartphone on March 5th. Today the company has decided to cancel the event due to coronavirus concerns in the country. The company will still offer live stream of the event, in which the CEO Madhav Seth will give live speech at the Indira Gandhi Stadium in New Delhi. Update: February 28, 2020 — realme has posted a new teaser that shows Black, Green and Yellow colors. It has also confirmed 9 sports modes that includes run, walk, hiking, climbing, yoga, fitness, spinning, bike and cricket mode. It will come with sleep tracking similar to most other bands, and feature built-in charging port. The band will come with IP68 ratings for water resistance and offer smart notifications. There will be hate to wait limited-time sale on the launch day March 5th from 2 to 4PM, said the company. It will also be available on Amazon.in, in addition to realme website.
After teasers yesterday realme today confirmed that the realme 6 and realme 6 Pro smartphones will be launched in India on March 5th on Flipkart.
