HTC Desire V dual-SIM phone with Android 4.0, Beats audio announced

HTC has announced Desire V, its first Dual-SIM smartphone for Europe and Asia. It is officially announced in Ukraine and Indonesia and features a 4-inch WVGA touch screen display and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) with HTC Sense 4. It is powered by 1GHz single-core Qualcomm processor and has 5MP auto focus camera with LED flash and has Beats audio support. It is 9.3 mm thick and weighs 114 g. Motorola DEFY XT and dual-SIM DEFY MINI launched in India for Rs. 16,190 and Rs. 11,490

Motorola Mobility has launched 2 new Water-Resistant Android Smartphones, Motorola DEFY XT and Motorola DEFY Mini in India. The Motorola DEFY XT is dustproof, scratch-resistant and water resistant and has 3.7-inch (480 x 854 pixels) display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by 1 GHz processor, 5 MP auto-focus camera with LED flash and VGA front-facing camera. The Motorola DEFY Mini is a Dual-SIM phone that is dustproof and water resistant. It has 3.2-inch touchscreen Corning GorillaGlass display, 600MHz processor, 3MP rear-facing camera with flash, VGA front-facing camera. Nokia Asha 311 Photo Gallery

At the Nokia Strategy Summit in Chennai today ,  I had the chance to check out the Nokia Asha 311 which was announced only yesterday  along with the Nokia Asha 305 and 306.  Entry level phones are generally slow and boring but you would be surprised at what the 311 packs. In fact , it’s the sexiest entry level Nokia phone I have played with in quite some time. While Nokia call the latest Asha phones as Asha Smartphones , they are still pretty much feature phones.  The phone is insanely fast for its segment and may be even faster than some Symbian phones and entry level Android phones as it packs a 1GHz processor. Sony SmartWatch available in India by June-end for Rs. 6,299


Sony has announced on their Facebook Page that the Sony SmartWatch would be available in India by the end of June. Sony announced the SmartWatch earlier this January. Nokia 808 PureView launching in India mid-June


Chennai, India – Nokia has confirmed in the Nokia Strategy Summit today that they would launch the Nokia 808 PureView in the middle of June 2012. Google Maps for Android finally gets offline support

At a press event in San Francisco , Google has just announced its intention to bring offline maps to the Android to its mobile map solutions. This offline caching feature will be an extension of the 10mile cache which is already possible. This announcement comes hot on the heels of rumors that Apple might be ditching Google and going with their own in-house maps application.

Nokia 110 Dual SIM phone now available in India for Rs. 2259

Nokia 110 affordable Dual-SIM phone is now available in India from online retailer Flipkart. It was announced last month along with the Nokia 112. It has 1.8-inch (128 x 160 pixels) D5 TFT display, Dual-SIM support with Nokia’s unique Easy Swap, VGA camera, 32 GB microSD card support, Bluetooth v2.1 with EDR, FM Radio and 3.5 mm AV connector. Quick Office , the popular productivity app has today been acquired by Google. Quick Office is well known for providing a powerful and feature rich office suite across Android , iOS and Symbian.
