Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet gets Android 4.0 OTA update in India

Lenovo ThinkPad tablet has received the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update in India. It is also available in United States, UK, Europe and other countries worldwide. Lenovo launched the ThinkPad Tablet in India last October and announced the ICS update for the tablet earlier this February. This update would offer improved browser with save it for later option and Voice input that would let you dictate text. There is no Face Unlock feature as they announced. LG A290 Triple SIM phone now available in India for Rs. 4100

LG A290, the company’s first Triple SIM phone that was announced earlier this February is now available in India. It has Triple Standby and has Hard Key to switch between SIM cards. It has 2.2-inch (176 x 220 pixels) 262K Colour TFT LCD display and has 1.3MP CMOS fixed focus camera with 4x digital zoom and Video Recording at 15 fps. HTC EVO 3D Android 4.0 update starts rolling out in India

HTC has announced on the their Facebook page that they have stared rolling out Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update for EVO 3D in India. The HTC EVO 3D was launched in India last August at at hefty price tag of Rs.35,990 (MRP) and later got a price cut that brought the price down to Rs. 25,000. HTC announced the global Android 4.0 update schedule last month and started rolling out Android 4.0 update for Sensation XL India earlier this week. NVIDIA launches Heroes Call and Puddle THD, unveils new Tegra 3 optimized games

NVIDIA has launched Heroes Call, an action RPG and Puddle THD, popular Xbox Live Arcade and PSN game for Tegra devices that were announced earlier this month . Google Nexus 7 Price Revealed – $199 takes on the Amazon Kindle Fire

Google has announced it’s first Nexus branded tablet in partnership with Asus and it has announced the price of the 7 inch tablet. Consumers can order the tablet from the Google Play Store directly. The tablet will be available for $199 starting from mid-July.  Looks like Google is taking on the Amazon Kindle Fire which is priced exactly the same. Google’s Nexus 7 tablet revealed, Comes with quad core Tegra 3 processor

Google is expected to announce its first foray into a Nexus branded tablet device. Ahead of the Google I/O event, Modaco  has managed to get its hands on the complete spec sheet and product images from the Play Store servers. The tablet will presumably be the first device to run the next generation Android Jelly Bean OS.

Tata Docomo launches new bundled plan for BlackBerry Curve 9320 and Curve 9320


Tata Docomo has launched monthly service plan for new BlackBerry Curve 9320 and BlackBerry Curve 9220 smartphones for GSM customers in India that offers free calls, SMS and BlackBerry Internet service. HTC announced the global Android 4.0 update schedule last month. This update would bring new features including HTC Sense 3.6, customizable launcher in the home-screen,  new lock screen functions,  music controls in the notification bar, new multi-tasking / recent apps screen and more new features.
