LG launches Quick Voice intelligent voice recognition service for Optimus phones in Korea

LG has launched Quick Voice, their own intelligent voice recognition to compete with Apple’s Siri and Samsung S Voice. This voice recognition app would let the users call contacts, on the address book, set alarm, set appointments on the calendar and open apps. It would also let you open maps to view directions, check weather forecasts, stocks, open YouTube videos and perform web search all using voice commands.

It would also offer Korean lunar calendar dates. The Quick Voice app would be available for Optimus devices including LG Optimus Vu and LG Optimus LTE 2 in Korea starting at the end of June through July via an update. There are no details whether this would come to Optimus devices in other countries.
