
Nokia is expected to unveil the Lumia 1020 at an event in New York in less than 12 hours. Press image of the phone surfaced earlier this week that shows off more colors and details about the 41-megapixel camera. Now a source of Unleashthephones have revealed complete specifications of the device and WP Central says they can confirm the specs with their sources. The phone would come with a 4.5-inch display similar to the Lumia 925, but it would also have a 6 element smartphone lens and HAAC mics for rich recording similar to the device. The display would have 2.5D sculpted glass with gorilla glass protection and High Brightness Mode, Sunlight readability, Super sensitive touch for nail and glove usage. The phone would be powered by a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, but we don’t have the exact model of the chip yet. LG unveils world’s slimmest 5.2-inch 1080p smartphone display

LG Display, the display arm of LG Electronics has unveiled the world’s slimmest Full HD LCD panel for smartphones. The LCD panel is of size 5.2-inch diagonally, aimed at premium mobile devices. LG says it would offer better grip-ability and a superior viewing experience. The display is just 2.2mm thin with a 2.3mm bezel. The LG Optimus G2 that is expected to be unveiled next month would have a 5.2-inch full HD display. So the phone is likely to feature this display. Gionee Elife E6 with 5-inch 1080p display announced, coming soon to India

Gionee has finally announced the most expected Elife E6 at an event in China just now. The Elife E6 packs a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display based on one-glass solution (OGS+) technology, powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6589T processor and runs on Amigo ROM Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It packs a 13-megapixel rear camera with f2.2 wide angle lens, BSI sensor, LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f2.4 wide angle lens. The phone is 7.9mm thick and has just 2.54mm thin bezel around the display. It weighs just 128 grams. Swipe MTV Slash with 7-inch display, Android 4.1 and Voice Calling now available for Rs. 9490

Swipe MTV Slash, a new 7-inch device in Swipe’s Fablet series is now available from online retailer Snapdeal. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It comes with dual SIM support with dual standby and comes with 3G support. It comes with several pre-loaded apps including Kingsoft Office, EBook Reader and has Audio Recording feature. LG Optimus L4 II Dual now available in India for Rs. 8990

The LG Optimus L4 II Dual (E445) that got priced on the official LG India website last month is now available in India from online retailers Flipkart and Infibeam. The L4 II dual was announced back in May along with the Optimus L4 II. It has a 3.8-inch (320 x 480 pixels) capacitive touch screen IPS display, powered by a 1 GHz MediaTek MT6575 and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It comes with a 3-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, dual SIM support with dual standby and a dedicated SIM switch key similar to the other dual SIM L Series II devices. HTC Butterfly S Benchmarks

HTC unveiled the Butterfly S, successor of the Butterfly in Taiwan last month. We brought you the photo gallery of the device earlier today. Now we have the benchmarks of the device. The phone has a 5.0-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD Super LCD 3 display display and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 8064T processor clocked at 1.9 GHz with Adreno 320 GPU coupled with 2 GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) with HTC Sense 5.0. Let’s check out the performance of the smartphone when compared with other high-end Android devices.

LG Optimus G2 leaks again in clear images and video

LG Optimus G2 is almost confirmed to be unveiled on August 7th in New York. Even though there were several leaks, now Engadget has posted clear images of the functioning device . The image shows the 5.2-inch phone with a extremely thin bezel and the second image shows a new lockscreen feature. The LG branding is on the bottom and the phones doesn’t have any capacitive touch buttons below the display. HERE Drive, HERE Transit and HERE Drive+ announced for all Windows Phone 8 devices

HERE, the location asset that Nokia is proud of, has just been announced for all Windows Phone 8 devices, not just a Nokia Lumia. This is a significant step towards Nokia’s contribution to the Windows Phone ecosystem, even though Nokia owns a majority of the market share. Devices like the HTC 8X will now be graced with HERE navigation and location apps that you get for free on Nokia Lumia smartphones. The apps include HERE Maps, HERE Transit and HERE Drive(with Drive+ for Global navigation). The picture above tells you the availability and the pricing of the new HERE apps that will be released for all Windows Phone 8 smartphones this week, with an update for all the Nokia Lumia devices.
Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom Benchmarks

Samsung launched the Galaxy S4 Zoom in India today at a price tag of Rs. 29,900. We unboxed the device earlier this month. Here we have the benchmarks of the S4 zoom. Even though the phone is called a camera phone for its 16-megapixel camera with 10x optical zoom it packs a powerful Exynos 4212 dual-core Cortex A9 chip clocked at 1.5 GHz with 400 MHz Mali 400MP4 GPU. Samsung uses the same chip in the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0. It runs on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). The Samsung Galaxy Camera that we reviewed last year uses a quad-core Exynos 4412 chip clocked at 1.4 GHz with 440 MHz Mali-400 MP4 GPU. Both these devices are based on 32 nm HKMGprocess.

Samsung has launched Galaxy S4 mini (GT-I9192) along with the Galaxy S4 Zoom at an event in Mumbai. It has a 4.3-inch (960 × 540 pixels) qHD Super AMOLED display, powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2.2. Jelly Bean with Samsung’s own Nature UX. It packs a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and a 1.9-megapixel HD front-facing camera. It is 8.97mm thick and weighs just 107 grams. It comes with Dual SIM support with dual standby.
