HTC’s design chief might be moving on to greener pastures, but he sure has left quite a legacy behind. After the original HTC One won accolades for its pleasing design and quality of build, the Taiwan manufacturer has one upped itself with the new HTC One M8. The design language might be almost exactly the same as its predecessor, but with minor changes in the build, and tweaks to the already good design, HTC has carved yet another well designed smartphone for the premium market. Lava has launched IvoryS, the company’s latest tablet in the Ivory series as them promised earlier this month. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) display, powered by a 1.3 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 3.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It has voice calling capabilities and has dual SIM support. Samsung Galaxy Core 2 with 4.5-inch display, Android 4.4 leaked

Samsung launched the Galaxy Core (GT-I8262) in India last year. Russian website hi-tech.mail.ru has posted the press images and the specifications of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Core 2 Dual SIM (SM-G355H). According to the leak, the Galaxy Core 2 would have a 4.5-inch (800 x 480 Pixels) LCD capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and would run Android 4.4 (KitKat). Samsung Galaxy S5 Camera Samples

Samsung’s latest flagship device, the Galaxy S5, was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress event in Barcelona and eventually arrived in Indian shores earlier this week. With a sky high price of Rs. 51,500, we set out to find if the device is really worth the price. While we will let you know the conclusion in our full review of the phone, in the process, we took the really intriguing 16 MP camera for a spin. We had purchased the international variant in the US and tested the camera in and around San Francisco to see how it fared in different lighting conditions. Microsoft launches Remote Desktop Preview app for Windows Phone 8.1

Microsoft has released preview version of its Remote Desktop app for the recently announced Windows Phone 8.1. The company had launched the Remote desktop app on Android and iOS in October last year. It allows users to control your PC from a Windows Phone device while on the go, but it requires Windows Phone 8.1 that is currently available only for developers.

Apple, Google and two other tech companies settle antitrust lawsuit

Google, Apple, Intel and Adobe Systems have settled a class-action lawsuit against nearly 65,000 employees who had alleged the companies conspired to keep wages artificially low through no-hire agreements. Reuters report reveals that Apple, Google, Adobe and Intel have agreed to settle the case and the settlement amount is worth $324 million.

Nokia completes sale of Device & Services business to Microsoft

Announced first on 3rd September 2013, the sale of Nokia’s Devices & Services business to Microsoft is now complete. With the completion of the deal, Nokia will cease to manufacture smartphones and will also transfer the Asha and Lumia brand name to Microsoft. Samsung has finally started rolling out the Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) update for the Galaxy Note 2 (GT-N7100) users starting from France, according to SamMobile. Acer Iconia B1-730, successor of the Iconia B1-720 has surfaced on Amazon and Acer Retailer website. This doesn’t mention the specifications of the tablet but MobileGeeks got hold of the specifications of the device. According to the website, it would come with a 7-inch (1280 × 800 pixels) HD display, powered by a 1.6 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 with PowerVR SGX544 GPU and runs on Android Jelly Bean OS.

Nimbuzz teams up with LG to pre-install app on devices, offers free ISD calls

Nimbuzz entered into a partnership with LG Mobiles to provide 100 minutes of free international calls to any number in the US. In addition to this, the Nimbuzz app will be pre-installed on LG devices. For starters, the instant messaging cross platform app will be available on L–Series III smartphones, before expanding to other devices.
