Sony already announced the XPERIA C5 Ultra and the XPERIA M5 earlier today but apparently there will an event in Berlin, a few days prior to IFA which is from 4th to 9th September. So it seems that Sony might be readying another smartphone which is most likely to the the XPERIA Z5 which was teased in a James Bond promo last month.

Sony Xperia M5 Waterproof smartphone with 5-inch 1080p display, 21.5MP camera with Hybrid AF announced

Sony just announced Xperia M5, the company’s latest smartphone in the M series. It has a 5-inch 1080p display, is powered by MediaTek Helio X10 Octa-Core SoC and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). It has a 21.5-megapixel rear camera with 0.25-second Hybrid Autofocus, LED flash, 4K video recording, 5x Clear Image Zoom (allows you to get close without losing any quality) and a 13-megapixel front-facing camera. Hybrid Autofocus uses Phase detection AF (PDAF) for faster shutter speed response and Contrast detection AF for added precision to produce crisp and clear photos, says Sony. Samsung Galaxy A8 launched in India for Rs. 32500

Samsung has launched the Galaxy A8, the company’s latest top-end smartphone in its A series. It was announced earlier this month in China, packs a 5.7-inch 1080p Super AMOLED display with 2.5mm ultra-narrow bezels and runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop), but the Indian variant is powered by an Octa-Core Exynos 5430 processor instead of Snapdragon 615 SoC. It has a full metal uni-body design, similar to the other A series smartphones and is just 5.9mm thick. It also has a fingerprint sensor integrated into the home button.

OnePlus announced its flagship OnePlus 2 smartphone earlier this week, which is coming to India on August 11, exclusively on Amazon. We already brought you the first impressions, unboxing and the camera samples, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. It is powered by an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 v2.1 64-bit 20nm processor that has four bigger ARM Cortex A57 cores clocked at 1.8GHz per core (under-clocked from 1.96 GHz) and four smaller ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.56GHz per core with 630 MHz Adreno 430 GPU.
