Now the SHIELD tablet X1 has surfaced in GFXBench benchmarks revealing a similar 8-inch Full HD display, but this will be powered by the latest NVIDIA Tegra X1 Octa-Core (4x ARM Cortex A57 + 4x ARM Cortex A53) 20nm processor with 256-core Maxwell GPU. Huawei has announced Mate 8, the company’s latest smartphone in the Mate series at an event in China, as it promised. It packs a 6-inch 1080p display with 2.7mm ultra narrow frame, 83% screen-to-body ratio and 2.5D glass, is powered by a Octa-Core HiSilicon Kirin 950 SoC with IntelliSense i5 sensor hub and runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Emotion UI 4.0 on top. It has a 16-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX298 sensor, dual-tone LED flash, phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), optical image stabilization (OIS) and uses Huawei’s own ISP. Obi Worldphone, backed by John Scully has launched Obi Worldphone SF1, it’s flagship smartphone in India, as it promised. It was introduced back in August and has a 5-inch 1080p display from JDI, which is slightly raised giving a floating feel, comes with 4G LTE connectivity with support for FDD B3 1800MHz and TDD B40 2300MHz bands for India, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC, has a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a fiberglass body and metal accents at the top and bottom of the phone. It is designed by San Francisco-based product studio Ammunition.
HTC has been having a lot of issues recently, most of them financial and the reason for that is the underwhelming response from customers for its products. They have made some choices in the recent past that aren’t really favoured by the public and now, they are launching a new program to help solve that issue.
While the Huawei Mate 8 is just a few hours away from its November 26th announcement, we now have a new benchmark listing of a mysterious Huawei device. The listing could very well be that of the Huawei Honor 5X Plus.

OnePlus has started rolling out Oxygen OS v2.1.3 OTA update for the OnePlus X smartphone, as it promised couple of weeks back, when it rolled out the OxygenOS 2.1.2 update. This update finally fixes SD card issues, including option to now move apps to and from the SD card, but option to save photos or videos directly to the SD card is not available yet. HTC on Wednesday announced and showcased its iPhone 6/6s-lookalike HTC One A9 in India alongside the all new mid-range HTC Desire 828 Dual SIM smartphone. While the official pricing isn’t yet disclosed, we think that HTC will not price it beyond Rs. 30,000. The phone will be made available in next two weeks, said HTC at an event in New Delhi. Last month Google announced Accelerated Mobile Pages, its new open source initiative to improve the performance of the mobile web pages. Now the company has announced that first accelerated pages will come sometime in early 2016, so all the traffic from Google Search will go to Accelerated Mobile Pages. This competes with Facebook Instant Articles that was launched earlier this year for iPhone. It was also launched for Android users in India this month. Lenovo launched Vibe S1, the company’s latest selfie-focused smartphone in India earlier this week, exclusively on Amazon.in, priced at Rs.15,999. We recently brought you the unboxing and the first impressions and photo gallery of the Midnight Blue version, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. The Vibe S1 is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6752 processor with eight ARM Cortex A53 CPUs clocked at 1.69GHz per core and has Mali-T760 MP2 GPU.
