OnePlus X OxygenOS 2.1.3 Move to SD

OnePlus has started rolling out Oxygen OS v2.1.3 OTA update for the OnePlus X smartphone, as it promised couple of weeks back, when it rolled out the OxygenOS 2.1.2 update. This update finally fixes SD card issues, including option to now move apps to and from the SD card, but option to save photos or videos directly to the SD card is not available yet.

The update also adds exFAT SD card support. OnePlus says that they are not done yet, and we can expect more updates and feature additions in the next couple of OTAs. Check out the complete changelog below.

  • SD card related improvements including:
    • UX improvements
    • exFAT SD card support
    • Ability to move apps to and from SD card
    • Fixed reboots caused by removing SD card in an active state
  • Security patches
  • General bug fixes and optimizations

The OxygenOS 2.1.3 OTA (over-the-air) update for the OnePlus X is about 34MB in size and is gradually rolling out for the users. If you don’t have the update yet, you can manually download the ZIP file from XDA forum here and flash it manually.
