Lenovo Phab Plus, the company’s latest phablet is now on sale in China. It packs a 6.8-inch 1080p screen, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC, runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Lenovo’s own Vibe UI on top, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone is just 7.6mm thick and has uni-body metal build. Since it is a phablet, it comes with software features for comfortable one-handed usage.

Lenovo A2010 could be India’s most affordable 4G smartphone

Lenovo launched A2010, a budget smartphone with 4G support in Vietnam earlier this month. Now the company is planning to launch it in India as the most affordable 4G smartphone, according to a report from The Economic Times. The ZTE Blade Qlux 4G was launched back in June at Rs. 4999 as India’s cheapest 4G smartphone. Lenovo reports $10.7 billion revenue for Q1, FY 2015-16, cuts 3200 jobs

Lenovo has reported $10.7 billion in revenue for Q1 ended June 30, 2015 for FY 2015-16, a mere three percent increase year-over-year. The company’s net income declined 51% year-over-year to US$105 million.

Lenovo announces open sale for K3 Note on Aug 10th and 11th after selling over 2.5 lakh units

Lenovo has announced that the K3 Note smartphone will be available without registrations through open sale on August 10 and 11th exclusively from Flipkart. The company launched the K3 Note smartphone on June 25th. It sold 47,440 units in the first flash sale on July 8th, 49,800 units (30,000 units in black and 19,800 units in white) in the second flash sale, 45,000 units (27,000 units in black and 18,000 units in white) in the third flash sale and 62,000 units in the fourth flash sale yesterday. Lenovo Vibe X3 spotted on GFX benchmark

Lenovo K3 Note vs Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G – What’s Different?

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G can brag about being one of the first cheap phablets on the Indian market to come out with 4G support. It was announced in November last year and made available at the end of December for a price of Rs 9,999. Since then, Xiaomi has seen good success with it as many people have purchased the smartphone for its features as well as its 4G capability at a low price. Since then, many manufacturers have tried to follow the same mantra and launched their own devices at similar prices and packing similar features. The price of the Redmi Note 4G has been reduced to Rs 7,999 last month but since then Lenovo has hit the market with the K3 Note which also retails at a price of Rs 9,999 which was the original asking rate for the Redmi Note 4G. Although it is costlier, it does offer a few improvements and unique features that probably justify the price. Let’s take a look at the specifications and features of both the devices.

Samsung Q2 2015 market share declines by 2.3% YoY

Lenovo S60 now receiving update to Android 5.0 Lollipop

The Lenovo S60 was announced earlier this year and was released in the Indian market during May 2015.
