Lenovo’s 6.98-inch Phab and 6.8-inch Phab Plus priced at $179 and $299

Lenovo Phab and Phab Plus

Lenovo introduced the Phab Plus in China last month, now at the IFA 2015, the company has introduced the phablet for the international markets, along with the new Phab with a 6.98-inch HD display. As we already know, the Phab Plus is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC, the Phab is powered by a 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon SoC (Snapdragon 410 likely). Both these run on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Lenovo’s own Vibe UI on top, have a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. These come with software features for comfortable one-handed usage. The Phab Plus has a uni-body metal build. Lenovo announces Vibe P1 with 5,000mAh battery and P1m with 4,000mAh battery

Lenovo along with the Vibe S1 has announced the Vibe P1 and P1m at its press conference in Berlin during the on-going IFA trade show.

The unique selling point for both the device is its long lasting batteries. The Vibe P1 and P1m has an unique OTG Charging function using which you can charge other USB-connected devices, such as Bluetooth headsets and portable speakers. Lenovo introduces Vibe S1 with dual front cameras for $299

Lenovo at its IFA press event in Berlin has introduced Vibe S1. The smartphone is designed to impress the selfie enthusiasts with its two front facing cameras. Lenovo Vibe S1 also has an attractive curved glass back design.

The dual selfie camera setup consists of an 8 megapixel primary front camera that captures images and a 2 megapixel secondary front camera will analuze the depth of field information, which will try to replicate human binocular vision. Lenovo Phab Plus, the company’s latest phablet is now on sale in China. It packs a 6.8-inch 1080p screen, is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 SoC, runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Lenovo’s own Vibe UI on top, has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone is just 7.6mm thick and has uni-body metal build. Since it is a phablet, it comes with software features for comfortable one-handed usage.

Lenovo launched A2010, a budget smartphone with 4G support in Vietnam earlier this month. Now the company is planning to launch it in India as the most affordable 4G smartphone, according to a report from The Economic Times. The ZTE Blade Qlux 4G was launched back in June at Rs. 4999 as India’s cheapest 4G smartphone. Lenovo reports $10.7 billion revenue for Q1, FY 2015-16, cuts 3200 jobs

Lenovo has reported $10.7 billion in revenue for Q1 ended June 30, 2015 for FY 2015-16, a mere three percent increase year-over-year. The company’s net income declined 51% year-over-year to US$105 million.
