Lenovo has finally sent out press invites for the launch of K3 Note in India on June 25th. It was announced in China back in March earlier this year. The K3 Note packs a 5.5-inch 1080p display, is powered by 1.7GHz octa-core 64-bit MediaTek processor, runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop), has a 13-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Lenovo has finally started rolling out Android 5.0 (Lollipop) update for Vibe X2 in India. The smartphone was launched back in November last year running Android 4.4 (Kitkat). The company already announced that the Vibe X2 smartphone will get the Android Lollipop update in Q2 2015. It recently said that Indian users will get the update by June 10, now it has started rolling out the update early. Lenovo showcased Lenovo Smart Cast, a concept projector smartphone with a built-in laser projector at the Tech World. Compared to pico-projector seen on most of the smartphones, this has laser projector, infrared motion detector and high-performance algorithms to offer a virtual projection. It is the first ever technology combination opens a new world of interaction, said the company.
Lenovo launched the A6000 Plus, an enhanced version of the A6000 with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage last month. It also launched the A7000 smartphone with a larger screen and Android 5.0 (Lollipop) last month. Now the company is selling the smartphone without registrations in open sale on today, May 25th and tomorrow, May 26th, 2015 on Flipkart. It says that the offer is valid till stocks last.
