Recently a Google devices codenamed Flounder appeared on Chrome Issue tracker. Now the codename has appeared on Android 4.4.3 (KitKat MR2) Changelog. Google usually uses fish-themed codenames for their Nexus devices such as Hammerhead, Tilapia, Manta etc. So it is clear that this would be the next Nexus device. After the Harman Kardon edition of the HTC One (M8) with bundled Harman AE-S earbuds, the company has unveiled Limited Edition Captain America S.H.I.E.L.D. HTC One M8 in the U.S. This comes in Gunmetal Gray like the original M8 and has a numbered S.H.I.E.L.D. etching on the back. Specifications of the HTC M8 mini leaked out back in February even before the HTC One M8 was unveiled. Now @evleaks has posted a press render of the M8 mini that is expected to be launched as HTC One mini 2. The leak reveals the phone’s colors, Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver and Amber Gold, similar to the HTC One (M8). According to the leaked render, it is clear that the phone lacks a Duo camera arrangement like the One M8. Sprint and HTC have partnered to announce the One (M8) Harman Kardon Edition, a special edition of HTC One M8 exclusively for Sprint that includes a pair of Harman AE-S earbuds and special audio enhancements. HTC M8 Ace surfaced in an image from @evleaks earlier this month. Now engadget reports that the HTC M8 Ace, a variant of the HTC One M8 will come with plastic unibody build instead of aluminium build. The HTC M8 Ace would have a 5-inch 1080p display and would be powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor similar to the One M8, according to the report. HTC has had a troubling past few quarters with well reviewed devices that haven’t really caught the consumer’s eye. HTC’s design chief might be moving on to greener pastures, but he sure has left quite a legacy behind. After the original HTC One won accolades for its pleasing design and quality of build, the Taiwan manufacturer has one upped itself with the new HTC One M8. Rumors have been floating around that HTC plans to acquire Nokia’s Chennai based plant to increase operations in India. The plant is considered the largest in the world and employs over 8000 people.
