After the Harman Kardon edition of the HTC One (M8) with bundled Harman AE-S earbuds, the company has unveiled Limited Edition Captain America S.H.I.E.L.D. HTC One M8 in the U.S. This comes in Gunmetal Gray like the original M8 and has a numbered S.H.I.E.L.D. etching on the back. It also comes bundled with Captain America wallpapers that can also be downloaded from the HTC website for other phones.
All the features would be similar to the original HTC One (M8). HTC is giving away the limited edition device through super selfie special promotion on their Facebook and Twitter pages for the U.S. customers. HTC released the One M8 in Gunmetal Gray, Glacial Silver and Amber Gold colors. The Harman Kardon edition comes in a unique gold with black finish.
HTC is also expected to release One M8 in Red, Pink and Blue accents later this year. This Limited Edition Captain America S.H.I.E.L.D. HTC One M8 is not likely to go on sale for the general public. Wonder why HTC didn’t tie up with Marvel for an exclusive HTC One or One M8 Iron Man edition since they signed up Robert Downey Jr. for a two-year deal back in August last year.
