HTC M8 Ace to reportedly come with plastic build and lower price tag

HTC M8 Ace surfaced in an image from @evleaks earlier this month. Now engadget reports that the HTC M8 Ace, a variant of the HTC One M8 will come with plastic unibody build instead of aluminium build. The HTC M8 Ace would have a 5-inch 1080p display and would be powered by a 2.5 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor similar to the One M8, according to the report.

It is not clear if the HTC M8 Ace would come with Duo camera arrangement similar to the One M8. Build could reduce the cost a lot. According to the report the HTC M8 Ace would be more affordable and could pose a threat to the Samsung Galaxy S5 with its competitive pricing.

HTC is also working on the HTC M8 mini, a low-cost variant of the M8, according to earlier reports. It is rumored to come with a 1.4 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4.5 inch HD display and Android 4.4 KitKat. It is also expected to come with a 13 MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera.

We just have to wait for @evleaks to reveal the complete specifications of the HTC M8 Ace.
