Here are the first pics of the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha device which RIM CEO Thorsten Heins showed off in the keynote few minutes ago. Although the device is only meant for developers at this point , it looks slick ! More than the hardware the BlackBerry 10 UI seems impressive. The software packs a gesture based on screen keyboard and an innovative multitasking interface.

BlackBerry OS 10 developer device unveiled at BlackBerry World

BlackBerry CEO Heins just unveiled the BlackBerry OS 10 based device which will be handed over to developers at the ongoing BlackBerry World conference in Orlando , Florida. While exact specifications are still missing , the highlight has got to be the gorgeous display on the slab.

The 4.2″ display packs in an amazing 1280×768 resolution panel which is above and beyond most other 720p panels out there. The internals include 16GB of storage and 1GB of RAM.

BlackBerry World 2012 Live Blog

We are live blogging the opening keynote from BlackBerry World 2012 currently happening in Orlando , Florida.  We are really hoping that RIM CEO Thorsten Heins will share some news about the upcoming BlackBerry 10 Devices. This is the first BlackBerry World under the new leadership. Last year RIM announced the BlackBerry Bold 9900 at this event and it happens to be the most popular Blackberry handset currently in the market.

First images of BlackBerry 10 Developer Alpha device has surfaced in the BlackBerry forums. The device is similar to first images of the BlackBerry 10 device code-named London that were leaked couple of months back. Crackberry also reports that the BlackBerry Jam 2012 attendees will receive the device for testing the apps and will never go on sale. BlackBerry Curve 9220 Review

RIM has been in the limelight due to their struggle to get compelling products out of the door in the recent years. While they lack anything particularly interesting in the high end segment , the Curve series of devices have been doing exceptionally well in developing markets like India and South East Asia.

The legendary Curve 8520 which still sells well in India has been long due for an update. Right on cue comes the Curve 9220. Research in Motion (RIM) has just launched its first BlackBerry Premium Store in New Delhi, India. The entire line up of devices from the BlackBerry portfolio are available for users to try out. It also has special zones featuring consumer and enterprise applications along with product service and a demo zone to highlight the exceptional performance of BlackBerry smartphones.

Research in Motion just launched the latest entrant to the Curve series in India. The BlackBerry Curve 9220 has been launched in India at a price point of Rs. 10,990.  Specifications include a 2.44″ QVGA resolution display and expandable memory upto 32GB via micro SD cards.

BlackBerry PlayBook gets a new software update to version v2.0.1.358. This update offer enhancements and bug fixes. The BlackBerry PlayBook OS 2.0 started rolling out at the end of February. BlackBerry PlayBook with 4G images surface

BlackBerry PlayBook with 4G images has surfaced online dubbed as BlackBerry 4G PlayBook. Sprint already canceled their plans to sell 4G WiMax version of the PlayBook last year and decided to go with LTE. RIM has already confirmed they would launch 3G/HSPA+ and 4G PlayBooks in the future.
