Back in October soon after the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL smartphones running Windows 10 Mobile were introduced, Microsoft said that Windows 10 update will be rolling out for existing Windows Phone 8.1 devices in December. Later it said that the update is delayed till early 2016. Now Venture Beat is reporting that Windows 10 Mobile to current Windows Phone 8 handsets will be delayed by another month. Windows 10 Continuum for phone adds support for the Snapdragon 617 SoC

Windows 10 now running on more than 200 million devices

Microsoft launched the Windows 10 on June 29th in 190 countries worldwide. Today the company’s Corporate Vice President of Marketing for Windows and Devices, Yusuf Mehdi said that Windows 10 is now running on more than 200 million active devices worldwide after 6 months of its launch. In 24 hours after the roll out it was running on more than 14 million devices, after four weeks of the launch it was running on more than 75 million devices. Samsung’s 12 inch Windows 10 tablet gets Bluetooth SIG and Wi-Fi certification
