The ideapad 710S is a 13 inch laptop from Lenovo that was unveiled just before CES 2016. It is also quite light as it weighs just 1.16 kgs and is slim at 13.9mm in terms of thickness.
Users can configure the laptop to have upto an Intel i7 Skylake processor with 8GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 256GB of PCIe SSD storage. It comes in either Integrated Intel or Intel Iris Graphics and the 13.3″ screen has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.
Like most other laptops announced by Lenovo today, the 710S also has JBL Stereo speakers with Dolby Audio Premium technology. It also has a 720p webcam up front and has a battery life that is rated for upto 8 hours of local video playback.
It supports WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 4.0 and microHDMI out. It also has 2 USB 3.0 ports (1 with Always-on charging) and a 4 in 1 card reader. The 710S will go on sale starting from June and will retail at a price of US$ 799 (Around Rs 53,000) upon release. Additional spec and feature improvements will increase the price further. It will also run Windows 10 Home out of the box.
