Samsung says it still leads the Indian tablet market

Earlier this week IDC reported that iBall is the top Indian tablet maker in India with 15.6% market share in Q4 2014 compared to Samsung that grabbed 12.9% share, based on shipments. Today Samsung has issued a statement saying that it is still the leader in Indian tablet market. It grabbed 40.6% volume market share and 49% value market share during October-December 2014 quarter, said the company. Xiaomi beats Samsung as China’s leading smartphone maker: IDC

Xiaomi has surpassed Samsung as the largest smartphone maker in China, as per a latest report from IDC. The Chinese smartphone maker reported a market share of 12.5% in 2014, overtaking Samsung which stood at 12.1%.

Samsung starts rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop update to Galaxy Note 4 in Poland

Samsung has started releasing Android 5.0 Lollipop update to Galaxy Note 4 in Poland, according to a report from SamMobile. At present, it is an OTA update and is expected to show up in the KIES tool soon.
