Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+, the company’s next flagship smartphones in the ‘Galaxy S’ series have finally surfaced in press image ahead of official announcement at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona next month, thanks to @evleaks. Only the front part of the smartphones have been revealed, which look similar to the S8 series with Infinity display, minimal bezels and a bunch of sensors on the top. Now the Galaxy S9+ with the model number SM-G965U has surfaced on Geekbench listing that confirms Snapdragon 845 SoC, 6GB RAM and Android 8.0 (Oreo) as revealed earlier. Renders from case maker Olixar has revealed the design of both the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+.

Now @evleaks aka Evan Blass at VentureBeat is reporting that the Galaxy S9 series will be an iterative update in “tock” cycle, since the Galaxy S8 was a major upgrade as a part of “tick” cycle. Samsung is said to introduce in-display fingerprint sensor with the Galaxy Note 9, according to latest report from KGI securities. The company will continue to put the fingerprint sensor at the back for Galaxy S9 similar to Galaxy S8 and S8+.
