Android Market Finally Hits 50,000 Apps

Android Market had 16,000 apps in December 2009 and nearly 30,000 in March, but now the Android market has finally crossed 50,000 apps in this month. According to Androlib, the number of apps in the Android market has crossed the 50,000 mark.

Video: Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 to be released with Android 2.0 ?

Something very very interesting popped up in my News Reader today: René, from the highly recommended german Website mobiflip.de has attended the CeBIT recently and amongst some other latest Devices, such as the latest HTC Bangers Legend and Desire, he also had a play with the long-awaited Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. The interesting Part? Well, the Demo Girl confirmed to René that the X10 will indeed be released with Android 2.0 on it! The Demo Device had 1.6 on it and to be honest, I’m again not too impressed with what i was seeing. The Device was obviously still lagging and did not do the Overall Impressions any Favors.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 Hands On

Here is a treat for all you Sony Ericsson fans – an exclusive Hands On of the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 running on the Google Android platform. It’s the first Android phone from SE and it’s a pretty good effort !

We are sure most of you have been eagerly waiting for this phone ever since it was announced last year. After having played with it during MWC 2010 , the 4 inch display is gorgeous and the Timescape feature is interesting. The 1GHZ Snapdragon CPU means that its pretty fast .
