Microsoft to bring dictation feature to Office web apps

Microsoft rolled out the dictation feature in the Word desktop app earlier this year and it is making its way to the web version of the office. The dictation feature to word and OneNote online will be available in the coming weeks. The company says that it will work on any browser. 

Google expands real-time translations to all Assistant-optimized headphones

Google is expanding the real-time translations on the Pixel Buds to all Google Assistant-optimized headphones. The company has updated their Pixel Buds support pages yesterday saying that “Google Translate is available on all Assistant-optimized headphones and Android phones.”

Online smartphone shipments in India grows 65% YoY in Q2 2018, Xiaomi leads with 54% share: Canalys

The online smartphone market in India is expected to surpass 15 million units in Q3 2018 with a growth of more than 25% year-on-year and expected to account a record 38% of the total smartphone market. In Q2 2018, online channels including Flipkart, Amazon, PayTm Mall, mi.com, OnePlus.com grabbed 35% share, growing 65% year-on-year.

Google challenges $5.04 billion European Commission antitrust fine

Alphabet unit Google has challenged the fine imposed by the European Union antitrust regulators in July. The commission has fined Google a record 4.34-billion euro (£3.8 billion) for imposing illegal restrictions on Android device manufacturers and mobile networks to cement its dominant position in general internet search.
