iPhone 14 Pro models said to feature punch-hole display, 48MP camera; under-screen Touch ID in 2023

Just as the iPhone 13 series got launched last week, rumoured features of next year’s Apple iPhone has begun surfacing. According to Ming Chi-Kuo, the 2022 iPhone Pro models will supposedly feature a hole-punch display and an upgraded 48MP wide camera. He also believes that Apple will introduce under-screen Touch ID support in the 2023 iPhones.

OnePlus is merging OxygenOS and ColorOS for a unified OS; to debut in 2022 OnePlus flagship

Back in June this year, OnePlus said that it will be integrating more of their organizational resources with their parent company, OPPO, to streamline operations and produce better products. Later, the company used the ColorOS 11 codebase in the OxygenOS 11 running on the OnePlus Nord 2. Today the company has announced that it will integrate the OxygenOS and ColorOS teams and develop the software together. Head of OxygenOS will also be overseeing the global unified operating system. HMD Global schedules an event on October 6 — Nokia T20 tablet, Nokia G50 5G and more expected

HMD Global has scheduled an event on October 6th. The tweet says  “Our family keeps growing. Coming 6.10.21” along with an image which displays Nokia feature phones and smartphones. There is a large box next to it hinting at a tablet. This is not the first time we had seen a Nokia. The Nokia N1 tablet in in partnership with brand-licensing agreement with the OEM partner was launched back in 2014. Google found in violation of India’s competition law: CCI report

After a 2-year-long probe, the Competition Commission of India (Competition Commission of India) has released a report stating that Google leveraged their Play Store dominance and had antitrust behaviour that stifled competition in the Android smartphone space. The report, once reviewed, may result in penalties for Google and may force them to change their Play Store policies.

The company says that Quantum Dot technology reproduces billions of colours shades for vibrant and immersive visuals, and theFull Array Local Dimming feature controls every zone of the aligned backlight to enhance the image contrast. It can go from 0.005 to 700 nits brightness to deliver the darkest as well as the brightest areas in their full glory. 2nd Gen AirPods Pro and new iPad Pro with updated design may arrive in 2022

Apple recently launched a whole range of new products last week, including a new iPhone 13, a new iPads and a new Apple Watch. Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman believes that Apple will mostly launch new MacBook Pros and AirPods by the end of 2021, and will launch products with bigger upgrades in 2022.

OPPO has launched A16, the company’s latest budget smartphone in the A-series in India, as a successor to the A15 that was launched last year. Vi says it has achieved peak 5G speed of 3.7 Gbps on mmWave band in trials

Vodafone Idea Limited (VIL) has been conducting 5G trials on Govt. allocated 5G spectrum in the cities of Pune (Maharashtra) and Gandhinagar
(Gujarat). Vi said that in its trial, it achieved peak 5G speed of 3.7 Gbps with very low latency on the mmWave spectrum band. This is conducted in a lab setup of end to-end captive network of Cloud Core, new generation Transport and Radio Access Network in Pune. Samsung has confirmed the launch of Galaxy M52 5G, the company’s new mid-range 5G smartphone in the M series in India on September 28th. The Amazon India listing says The new Galaxy M ‘Leanest, Meanest Monster display’ which is 2x smoother, so it will come with a 120Hz refresh rate screen. The image confirms a punch-hole screen, and it should be an AMOLED screen. The latest teaser confirms 7.4mm sleek design, Snapdragon 778G and support for 11 5G bands. Samsung Galaxy S22 could feature a smaller 6.06-inch display

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S22 early next year. According to the latest report from the leaker Ice Universe, the phone will come with a 6.06-inch screen, smaller than the 6.2-inch screen in the S21. He added that the length, width and thickness will be smaller than iPhone 13 which has a 6.1-inch screen. The company’s S9 had a 5.8-inch screen, but the S10 featured a screen bigger than 6-inches.
