Karbonn A12 with 4.5-inch display, 1 GHz processor now available for Rs. 7699

Karbonn A12, a new Android Smartphone is now available from online retailers Saholic and Flipkart in India. It has a 4.5-inch (854 ×480 pixels) FWVGA capacitive touch sceen display and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), similar to the Karbonn A21 that was launched last year. The A12 is powered by a 1 GHz processor. It has a 5MP auto focus camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera. It also comes with dual SIM support with dual standby. Samsung Galaxy Camera Wi-Fi-only version announced

Samsung has announced the Galaxy Camera (Wi-Fi). It comes with similar features of the original Galaxy Camera that was announced at IFA, Berlin last August, but it lacks the SIM card slot for 4G LTE/3G connectivity and would be much affordable. The Galaxy Camera was launched in India last November, and we reviewed it at the end of November. Samsung rolled out the Android 4.1.2 update for the Galaxy Camera earlier this year. Samsung Galaxy Note Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update starts rolling out

Samsung has started rolling out Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) update for the International Samsung Galaxy Note (GT-N7000) starting from Hong Kong, Taiwan and Germany. Samsung confirmed back in December that the Galaxy Note would get the multi-screen / multi-window feature in the Android 4.1 update. The Samsung Galaxy S2 got the Jelly Bean update last month. Huawei has officially launched the Huawei Ascend Y210D that went on sale in India last week. It is an entry-level smartphone that packs a 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Cortex A5 processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It has a 2MP camera at the back with CMOS sensor and packs a 1700 mAh battery that uses Huawei’s Power Saving Technology that would offer up to 30% more battery life. Pantel Technologies has launched T-Pad WS707C, their new tablet with built-in SIM card slot for voice calling and 2G connectivity. It has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) capacitive touch screen display with and is powered by a 1.2 GHz Cortex A9 processor. It runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) and comes with WiFi and 3G support via USB Dongle for data connectivity. It has a 2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing camera. The company launched Penta T-Pad WS802C-2G, a 8-inch Android tablet with Voice calling last year. HTC Butterfly vs Samsung Galaxy S3

The HTC Butterfly is one of the first phones to sport a 1080p screen that is already available in the global market. It launched as the HTC Butterfly J in Japan, Droid DNA with Verizon in the US, but it’s essentially the same with minor differences, with one advantage of the global version being the inclusion of the micro SD expansion slot. So, we have been comparing the HTC Butterfly to other flagship devices like the Nokia Lumia 920, and it’s the turn of the Samsung flagship to be compared now, the Samsung Galaxy S3. The Galaxy S3 has been the long standing flagship of Samsung since it was introduced at an event in May 2012. LG Optimus G Pro specifications detailed, First device with 1.7 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor

LG unveiled the Optimus G Pro with a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS curved glass display last week. The Optimus G Pro for the Japanese market has a 5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display and 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm APQ 8064 processor. LG has announced that the Optimus G Pro for the Korean market would come with a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm  Snapdragon 600 processor, making it the first smartphone to feature the new Qualcomm chip. BlackBerry Z10 India launch on Feb 25 as invite arrives

FoneArena was the first to bring you the news about the BlackBerry Z10 coming to India on February 24th,25th . Looks like we were right ! An interesting and unusual invite landed at our office today from BlackBerry and it was a cool heat sensitive mug ! Once we filled the mug with some hot liquid , the message slowly showed up on the mug. Micromax Funbook P600 with 7-inch display, Voice calling, 1 GHz dual-core processor now available for Rs. 9499

Micromax Funbook P600, the company’s latest Android tablet is now available from online retailer Snapdeal. Most of the features are similar to the Micromax Funbook Talk (P350) that was launched last year including a 7-inch capacitive touch screen display and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), but this one is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon (MSM8225A) processor instead of 1 GHz Allwinner A10 processor in the P350. It has a 2MP camera at the back and a VGA front-facing camera. It also has voice calling and 3G support.
