Sony D6503 images surface, D6603 shows up in Benchmarks
Sony D6503, an upcoming flagship smartphone has surfaced in images on XDA. This is rumored to be the successor of the Xperia Z1. The Sony D6603 has showed up in AnTuTu Benchmarks, which is likely to be another flagship from Sony. These leaked images of the prototype shows off aluminium chassis and glass back. Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 Unboxing and First Impressions
The Samsung Galaxy Grand Duos was the first device from the Korean chaebol to land its foot it in the highly competitive mid range phablet market. It was a big success, at least in the Indian market, but now we have its successor, the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2. With an upgraded spec sheet that includes a better display, better processor and the Note 3-esque faux leather back cover, the Grand 2 has caught our fancy, especially at the price of Rs. 22,999. Dell Venue 8 Pro launched in India for Rs. 26,499, availability starting February 2014
The Dell Venue 8 Pro, a 8 inch Windows 8.1 tablet that we reviewed earlier, has been officially launched in India by Dell for a price of Rs. 26,499 for the base 32 GB WiFi model. Powered by the Intel Atom Z3740D Bay Trail Quad Core processor running at 1.8 GHz, the Venue 8 Pro offers the full Windows experience, with surprisingly decent gaming performance to boot. One of the thinnest Windows tablets around, the Venue 8 Pro joins the Acer Iconia W4 in its foray into the increasingly crowded small tablet market, with the added advantage of a full fledged desktop operating system, made easier for touch.

Dell has launched Venue 7 and the Venue 8 Android tablets in India. The Venue 7 has a 7-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) IPS display and the Venue 8 has a 8-inch (1280 x 800 pixels). Both these tablets are powered by a 2 GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2580 Clover Trail+ processors and run on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). The Venue 7 has a 3-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. The Venue 8 has a 5-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording and a 2-megapixel front-facing HD camera. Sony Smart Tennis Sensor announced, lets you track tennis racket swings on your smartphone
Sony unveiled a tennis racket sensor at the CES 2014 earlier this month, now the company has officially announced the Smart Tennis Sensor (SSE-TN1) that would help you improve your tennis racket swing. This latches on to the bottom of your tennis racket and connects to your smartphone over Bluetooth to send data about your swing. This lets you immediately analyze the shot using the dedicated Smart Tennis Sensor application on your iPhone or Android. iberry launched the Auxus CoreX8 tablet and the Auxus Xenea X1 smartphone last week, now the company has launched the Auxus Nuclea N2 smartphone, the successor of the Nuclea N1. This has a 5.7-inch 1080p display, powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6592 processor with Mali 450-MP4 GPU and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) that is upgradable to higher versions via OTA updates. Lava Iris Pro 30 Photo Gallery
Lava announced its new phone, the Iris Pro 30 at an event in Delhi yesterday. The company talked in length about its focus on hardware quality and materials used. In our hands on impressions, we found that despite looking very heavily inspired by the iPhone, the phone does have better build quality than most others in its category. Xolo Q3000 Benchmarks
Xolo launched the Q3000, the company’s first smartphone with a full HD display last month. We already brought you the unboxing of the device earlier this week, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. It packs a 5.7-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS display, but it is powered by a quad-core MediaTek 6589T processor clocked at 1.5 GHz with PowerVR SGX 544MP GPU, similar to the Q1000S. We had already seen several smartphones with a full HD screens and a MT6589T chip. Let’s find out how this competes with other devices in a range of synthetic benchmark tests.
