After launching on iOS and Andorid, Uber has parked its car at the Windows Phone Store. The popular on demand car service has officially announced the release of Windows Phone. Prior to this, Uber users had to access the service via its mobile site. The Uber Windows Phone app is mostly similar to its iOS and Android counterpart barring few Microsoft Metro UI redesign.

Xiaomi Mi3 sellout on Flipkart: How many devices?
As expected, Xiaomi continued their flash sale marketing with their first sale in India on 22nd July. This came after a week of registrations, when over a lakh Indians registered to be eligible to buy the device when it goes on sale. With a VFM proposition as lucrative as the Xiaomi Mi3’s it wasn’t surprising that the device got sold out in under 40 minutes of going on sale.

Modern Combat 5: Blackout coming to Windows Phone and Windows too on July 24th
Earlier this month Gameloft announced that the Modern Combat 5: Blackout would launch on Android, iPhone and iPad on July 24th. Recently Gameloft has announced that the game would also launch on Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 this Thursday. Gameloft launched 16 games for Windows Phone 8 last year and would bring all upcoming HD titles to Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 platforms immediately after they launch. Xiaomi Mi3 gets a major update (KXDMIBE18.0) in India
Xiaomi Mi3 went on sale in India yesterday. The Indian variant runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) out of the box with MIUI ROM on top. Today the unit has received a major update to version KXDMIBE18.0 that brings new features, optimizations and fixes. This is a global update for the Mi3 that is already available in Malaysia, Philippines and more countries, where it launched the smartphone. Flipkart, the big daddy of the Indian e-commerce is about to get bigger. The company has raised eye popping $1 billion (Rs. 6000 Crore) in the latest round of funding from new and existing investors, according to a report from the Economic Times.

Microsoft devices has just announced the Lumia 530 the company’s latest budget smartphones. Idea offers 200,000 hours of free internet through Idea Web Pass for the next 20 days
