YU just launched YUREKA PLUS, the company’s latest smartphone in the YU series. It has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, compared to a 5.5-inch HD display on the YUREKA. It is powered by a Octa-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (4×1.5GHz + 4×1.0GHz) processor and runs on Cyanogen OS 12 based on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). It has a 13-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED Flash, Sony IMX214 sensor, compared to Sony IMX135 sensor on the YUREKA and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. LG has announced Bello II, the successor of last year’s L Bello. It has the same 5-inch FWVGA screen, is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor and comes with a 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, but this runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) and has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0 and Tab S2 9.7 with QXGA Super AMOLED displays, 5.6mm slim frame announced

Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Tab S2, successor of last year’s Galaxy Tab S series. These come in 8-inch and 9.7-inch variants and pack Super AMOLED displays at QXGA resolution, are powered by a Octa-Core Exynos SoCs and run on Android 5.0 (Lollipop). These have a 8-megapixel rear camera without LED flash and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. These are just 5.6mm thick, making it the world’s thinnest tablets currently. Incipio introduces Offgrid case for Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge – Features built-in battery and microSD card slot
If you were to ask someone what the two drawbacks of their Galaxy S6/S6 Edge are, majority of them would say it’s the non-revomable battery/poor battery life and the fixed memory. Yu has announced that the company’s YuFit fitness band that was announced back in May will finally will go on sale July 29th. It can monitor steps walked, calories burnt, daily goals reached, tracks your sleep and also offers notification for incoming calls and messages. It is powered by healthifyme that provides Fitness trainers, Nutritionists and Dietitians through specific packages designed for YuFit. Microsoft rolling out firmware update to enable 4G support for some Lumia phones in India

Microsoft India is currently rolling out a minor software update to select Lumia devices to support 4G LTE networks. As Airtel continues to roll out its 4G service across the country Microsoft saw the need to enable 4G radios on devices which have the functionality built into the hardware but lacked the necessary software. So if you are using a Microsoft or Nokia Lumia device which has support for 4G globally, you should update your device to make the jump to 4G.
