Gionee has announced M6 and M6 Plus smartphones in China. The Gionee M6 packs in a 5.5-inch 1080p AMOLED display and the M6 Plus packs a 6-inch 1080p AMOLED screen. Both the phones are powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Helio P10 SoC and run Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Amigo OS 3.2 on top. The Gionee M6 has a 13-megapixel rear camera with phase-detection auto-focus (PDAF), LED flash and the M6 Plus has a 16-megapixel rear camera. Both the phones have a 8-megapixel front-facing camera. Opera has updated its Opera Mini app for Android that brings a new built-in video player that lets you download videos video and social media websites with a single click without installing another app or going to another website. If you simply play a video, you can still download it during playback by tapping the download icon in the top-right corner of the screen. Sony just launched the Xperia XA Ultra smartphone in India as it had promised last week. It was announced in May, has a 21.5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Hybrid Auto-Focus and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera that also has a LED flash and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) for capturing shake-free selfies. OnePlus has finally announced the roll out details of the Soft Gold version of the OnePlus 3 smartphone, as it had promised last month. It will first release in the US from tomorrow, June 26th and will roll out in Europe, Hong Kong and Canada from August 1st. OnePlus said that the new variant will be available in limited quantities so you will have to be quick to order one immediately after the sale begins.
