Last week Xiaomi confirmed that it will unveil Mi MIX 2, the company’s second-generation bezel-less smartphone in China on September 11th. After recent leaks, Samsung has officially announced the Galaxy Tab A 8.0 (2017) in Vietnam. It has a 8-inch WXGA, is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 processor, runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) and also comes in both WiFi (SM-T380) and 4G variants (SM-T385). It has an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, f/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. HTC launched the U11 in India in June following its announcement in May. Airtel back in July confirmed that the company is trialing 4G VoLTE (Voice Over LTE) services across five circles in the country and will officially launch VoLTE across it circles later this year. Asus has sent out invites for the launch of new Zenfone series in India, which will likely be the Zenfone 4 series that includes Zenfone 4, Zenfone 4 Pro, Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro, Zenfone 4 Selfie, ZenFone 4 Max and Zenfone 4 Max Pro. Google has launched new desktop application for Google Drive users, called Drive File Stream. Available for G Suite customers, it will basically replace the Google Drive desktop app for PC and Mac, which will no longer be supported starting on December 11 2017 will shut down completely on March 12 2018.

Xiaomi yesterday launched Mi A1, the company’s first Android One smartphone in partnership with Google priced at Rs. 14,999. It is the global variant of the Mi 5X that was introduced in China back in July, but this runs stocks Android. Check out the unboxing of the phone.
