Moto G6 Series

MWC 2018 is just a month away, and this is the event where we tons of phones launch from various manufacturers including flagships. One among the many brands is Motorola which has the tradition of launching the G-series at every MWC. Today we have the first look at the most of the upcoming Motorola phones including the Moto G6, G6 Plus, G6 Play, Moto X5, Moto Z3, Moto Z3 Play.

The Play version of the G-series just as expected is making its return along with the G6 and G6 Plus. One thing that is commonly seen on most upcoming Moto phones is the 18:9 bezel-less displays and Dual rear cameras. The overall design elements of the G6 and G6 Plus seem to be following the Moto X4 way with camera bump and slightly curved back panel.

Moto G6 and G6 Plus

As for the specifications, the Moto G6 is expected to sport a 5.7-inch Full HD+ 18:9 display and powered by the Snapdragon 450 SoC with 3GB RAM for the base variant and 4GB RAM for the high-end. Storage options include 32 and 64GB with microSD card slot for memory expansion. In the camera department, there is a 12MP rear camera and a 5MP secondary camera along with a 16MP shooter on the front.

On the other hand, the G6 Plus will sport a large 5.93-inch 18:9 display, Snapdragon 630, same 3/4GB RAM with 32/64GB storage options. The camera department also gets the same 12+5MP rear dual cameras and 16MP front camera. Regardless of the bezel-less design, the fingerprint sensor will retain its position on the front. The Moto G6 and G6 Plus will be available in various colors, and If we’re to guess, the phones might range between $240 and $330, respectively.

Moto X5

While the complete details of the Moto X5 aren’t available yet, we have our first look at the device, and it looks gorgeous. The Moto X5 will also have a 5.99-inch slim bezel-less design, and it appears to have a notch on top like the iPhone X. It will have dual front and rear facing cameras. The fingerprint sensor isn’t present on the front, but we see a while software button on the bottom of the screen.

The button could pull the navigation button or could be any other feature. The fingerprint sensor could be hidden inside the Moto logo on the back just like we saw with the Moto E5 design yesterday.

Moto Z3 and Z3 Play

Last on the list are the Moto Z3, Z3 Play, and the 5G Moto Mod. The Moto Z-series is all about the mods and modularity. Both the Z3 and Z3 Play sport the same 6-inch FHD+ (18:9) displays and might be powered by the  Snapdragon 845 with 4GB RAM or even more. Interestingly the Z-series also has the white software button on the bottom.

We don’t see the fingerprint sensor here as well, could it mean that Lenovo included an in-display fingerprint sensor or a facial unlocking? Well, only the company can answer during the launch. The 5G Moto Mod is another interesting piece of hardware, and from the look of its, it feels like the Mod is capable of bringing 5G abilities to the phone.

Since these are early leaks, we advise our reader to take the news with a pinch of salt until the company officially announces them in the days to come.
