Huawei’s Honor brand has announced that it has started rolling out a new software update to enable Face unlock feature in Honor 9 Lite smartphone in India, as it had promised. Face Unlock for the Honor View 10 was released last month. Huawei’s Honor brand started selling the Honor 9 Lite smartphone exclusively on Flipkart last week. The phone sold out in record 6 minutes of the sale opening, selling at a the rate of over 150 units per second on January 21st midnight and it sold out in 3 minutes in the second sale on January 21st 12 noon. After Huawei Enjoy 7S announcement next week, the company’s Honor brand will introduce Honor 9 Lite on December 21st, for which the company has sent out invites. It has received TENAA certification with the model number LLD-AL10 that confirms a similar 5.65-inch FHD+ full-screen 18:9 display, 13-megapixel rear camera along with a secondary 2-megapixel rear camera, Android 8.0 (Oreo) and a fingerprint sensor on the back.
