Reliance Communications completes Sistema’s MTS merger transaction

Reliance Communications (RCOM) today announced that it has completed merger transaction with Sistema’s Indian wireless business, carried on by Sistema Shyam Teleservices Ltd. (SSTL) under the MTS brand. The deal was announced back in 2015 and it was decently approved by Department of Telecommunications (DOT)  last week. Microsoft Surface Pro with LTE Advanced to roll out from December

Microsoft introduced new Surface Pro back in May and said that it will introduce new Surface Pro with 4G LTE Advanced option later this year. Today at the Future Decoded event in London the company revealed details about the LTE model. The Surface Pro with LTE Advanced has Qualcomm Snapdragon X16 Cat 9 modem with support of 20 LTE bands and offers speeds of up to 450Mbps. It comes only in Core i5 version.

Samsung has reported its earnings for Q3 2017, in which the company has made operating profit of 14.53 trillion won ($13 billion), up 179.4% YoY for the quarter that ended September 30, 2017, as expected. This is a new all-time high quarterly profit, due to strong demand for high-performance memory chipsets for servers and flagship mobile devices. HMD Global just announced Nokia 2, the company’s latest budget smartphone at an event in India. It has a 5-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and packs a 4100mAh battery that promises up to 2 days of battery life on a single charge. YouTube TV app launched for Android TVs, Xbox One, Apple TV and more

YouTube TV was introduced back in April with content from networks 35 of other cable networks for $35 per month. Using ChromeCast or another streaming device, you can stream the content from your mobile device to your TVs as well as there was no native YouTube TV app. Today the company has finally launched a proper Android TV app; the YouTube TV.
