Moto X4 with 5.2-inch 1080p display, dual rear cameras launched in India starting at Rs. 20999

Motorola India has finally launched the Moto X4 smartphone in India, as it had promised. It  was unveiled IFA event recently and packs dual 12MP and 8MP rear cameras to take images with blurred background, portraits, selective black and white and has dual Autofocus Pixel technology for faster focus in low light. It packs a 5.2-inch 1080p screen, is powered by Snapdragon 630 and runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat). It has a 16MP front camera with a new 4MP adaptive low light mode.

Google acknowledges Pixel 2 XL touchscreen unresponsiveness near the edges, will fix with software update

The original poster has noticed the lack of responsiveness of the touchscreen along with the curved edges of the Pixel 2 XL screen and has kick-started a discussion with a post and a display test video.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 gets a permanent price cut in India, 3GB RAM with 32GB storage version now starts at Rs. 9999

Xiaomi launched the Redmi Note 4 smartphone in India back in January this year. After about 10 months of launch, the company has announced a Rs. 1000 permanent price cut for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage variants in the country. Apple to drop iPhone 8 production significantly, iPhone X to retain demand and growth in 2018: KGI

Twitter now lets you add display name up to 50 characters in length

Right after rolling out 280 characters for all a couple of days ago, Twitter is adding another update that will let you add your ‘display name’ up to 50 characters in length. The original length of display name was 20 characters, so now you can add emojis, middle names, or seasonal-themed display names without hitting the limit.

Apple releases iOS 11.1.1 for iPhone and iPad with fix for auto correct bug

Apple released iOS 11.1 update for iPhone and iPad last month that brought over 70 new emojis and several fixes. Now it has released iOS 11.1.1 update that fixes an autocorrect bug that has been plaguing a lot users since the iOS 11.1 update. The bug causes “i” to autocorrect to A[?] in the keyboard. Apple fixed it in iOS 11.2 beta, but Apple could not wait till iOS 11.2 release since it was affecting a lot of users.
