Google at the I/O 2017 announced Android Go for low-cost Android devices that have 512MB to 1GB of RAM offering smooth and efficient software experience, better data management, better saving and more. Today at the Google For India 2017 in the country it has announced that this will be called Android Oreo (Go edition) and will be based on Android 8.1 (Oreo).

Apple manufacturer Quanta teams up with Lumus to make AR displays

AppleQuanta Computer Inc., who is one the major manufacturing partners of Apple has struck a deal with Israel-based augmented-reality component maker Lumus Ltd to build lenses for smart glasses. Broadcom seeks to replace Qualcomm’s board as it escalates fight over its proposed takeover bid

After being rejected for a proposal to acquire Qualcomm, Broadcom has now nominated a slate of 11 candidates for Election at Qualcomm’s 2018 Annual Meeting to replace the Qualcomm’s existing board of directors and propose certain other matters for the consideration. It has a 5.7-inch HD+ 2.5D curved glass screen with 18:9 aspect ratio and minimal bezels and runs on Android Nougat, but this is powered by an Octa-Core Snapdragon 430 Mobile Platform, instead of Snapdragon 425 and also comes with a 20-megapixel front-facing camera along with a secondary 8-megapixel camera offering Portrait Mode that blur the background in selfie images.
